==== 5====tips to maximise
your personal productivity
We each have 24 hours in the day.
Why then, do some people achieve more in a day than others?
Since there is no way to make a day last longer.
The alternative is to get more from your 24 hours that you are given.
Tip 1 – Set Goals
Setting goals is king when the need for productivity is important.
Goals can be set short term and/or long term.
Set both short term and long term goals as they are both equally important.
Write them down either on a piece of paper or in a document.
There is magic in writing down your goals.
Tips 2 – Make a to-do list
Plan out your day with a to-do list.
This list should be everything you will do today that moves you closer to the goals you set out
in tip 1.
Prioritise your list.
If reading your emails is not important to moving you closer to your goals then it shouldn’t be on
your to-do list.
Tip 3 – Block out your time
Set aside uninterrupted quality time to take action on your to-do list.
Once you set aside this time do not get side tracked.
I use a free piece of software called focus booster. I love it and you will
too.
Tip4 – Focus on one thing at a time
Don’t multi task.
Follow your to-do list from most to least important as specified in your
to-do list that you prioritised.
Learning to focus is powerful and with time will become easier.
Tip 5 – Take allocated breaks
Remember to add small breaks.
Getting tired can cause you to side track and lose focus and before you know it working on another project altogether.
