Be Successful!• Math Practice: Students need to complete their weekly math

skills practice. Other ways to practice: flash cards (can be found online also), math websites, etc.

• Daily Reading: Your child needs to read for 20 minutes a night at least 5 nights each week. This time could be spent reading a book from school. Parents will need to sign the reading section in the agenda each night this is completed. Minutes will then need to be totaled at the end of the month.

• Spelling/Vocabulary: Encourage your child to practice his/her weekly spelling and vocabulary words. (students will have a printout of this, it will be posted on blog, and spellingcity.com)

• Assessments: Help your child prepare for assessments. (Study guides and pretests may be sent home at times to help with this preparation. If you have any questions about tests, please contact me.)

• Stay involved and remember that we are a team!
