Many of us are often not ready or haven’t had a chance to
experience the world. ◦ Unplanned pregnancies may not be well understood nor do many realize
approaches to bridge better interactions between two estranged parents.
Enabling coaches who can build life skills and respectful interactions
Ensuring fathers are involved and parentage identified from birth
Focusing on the whole family and building healthy two parent
relationships ◦ Helping to avoid unplanned pregnancies
Because it’s not widely advertised about what futures hold for children of a single
parent.
Especially, when you are poor or a child of a single parent.

National Information Exchange Model
Preventing removal of children from their homes and families – for reasons outside their control. ◦ An officer being offended isn’t a good reason to put kids in jail.
We certainly can provide “youth guide to police interactions” workshops students
◦ “offending an officer” is a highly subjective reason Another point of failure measures undetected bias towards a single parent
Especially, when the placement is in foster care.
In some cases, an accusing grandparent who raised an abusive spouse
Returning children to their homes and families – that was the reason for removal and the system was supposed to re-unite families not force parents to release parental rights. ◦ Removing children rarely solves the problem ◦ In fact the scars are often hidden and children targeted by criminals for human trafficking,
sex crimes and identity theft “patsies” or “accused fraudster”
It makes no sense to remove children because people are poor ◦ Prevention introduces the wellness indicators and works with families to improve lives for
re-unification and DOES NOT remove children from their environment.

• Women represent more than 50% of the population over 65
The food program is a proven model in Santa Clara County the senior center option was added and was extremely successful. ◦ A model program has the potential to serve two of the highest risk
populations while increasing economic sustainability. ◦ Debt only population increases capacity and payments into tax versus debt
only relationship.
Culturally appropriate meals enables seniors access to a higher quality of life as their independence transitions to center based housing. ◦ Many seniors no longer can live alone, but still manage most basic needs.
Most will become isolated and their health will suffer from depression or loneliness.
◦ The opportunity encourages group interactions with others who share the same appreciation for cultural norms.
