Spacing out Spacing out: is when someone is talking but we ignore them because our mind is somewhere else.
Pretend listeningWe aren’t paying attention but we are pretending to listen by making little comments such as “yeah”, ”cool”, and “sounds great”.
Selective listeningSelective listening: is where we pay attention only to the part of the conversation that interest us.
