5 Limited Editions Cars & SUVs on Offer This Festive Season
Maruti Suzuki Ertiga Paseo
Price: 5.99 Lakh to 8.72 Lakh (Ex-Showroom)
A festive offer without the country’s largest car maker is not at all
acceptable and that’s what Maruti means to its customers. Although Maruti
has this practice of offering special editions throughout the year in its wide
network of outlets, festive season makes it even more special as the car
maker bestows its huge customer base with plenty of discounts making it
value for money buy.
Going by that this festive season Maruti has launched the Ertiga Paseo
Edition. This limited edition Ertiga is loaded with features which you usually
don’t find it on normal trims. The special edition features a cool/warm box,
digital tyre inflator, new seat covers, cushions, leather steering cover, high
speed USB charger, hands free Bluetooth kit, metal scuff plates, designer
mats and ambient mood lights. On the outside the car is equipped with roof
spoiler, rear parking sensors with display and special body graphics are the
other changes. The MPV’s special edition model is available in superior
white and silky silver colors but the engines and gearboxes remain
unchanged.
Renault Duster Explore Edition
Price: 9.99 Lakh & 11.10 Lakh (Ex-Showroom)
The Duster has gone through lot of tweaks since its launch in India and by
far you can say this Explore limited Edition from Renault is the sportier
looking one than the regular model. Since its said to be sold in limited
numbers, let’s look at what the company is offering with this edition.
This limited edition will be available in two diesel variants - 85PS RXL and
110 PS RXL at 9.99 lakh and 11.10 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) respectively.
On the outside, the car gets dark chrome front grille, a skid plate, new
racing stripes, a bull bar with driving lights, and a chorme finished tail-gate
with Duster engraved on the top. On the inside, the seats get dual tone
upholstery, the steering wheel gets leather wrapped while orange and satin
inserts come on the dashboard, instrument cluster, center console and door
panels making it more sportier.
Skoda Rapid Anniversary Edition
Price: 6.99 Lakh (Ex-Showroom)
Packed with power and distinctive elegance, SKODA has launched yet
another edition but this time it’s the Rapid Anniversary Edition which is a
thrill to observe as it is to drive. This newly launched edition especially for
the festive season comes with elegant changes on the inside and outside of
the car which is not available on the normal trims. The edition has chiseled
curves and moulded body lines that blend in effortlessly with black design
elements along with new decals and a contrast black paint job on the roof
making the SKODA Rapid gracious. On the inside, wood trim and twin
airbags are now standard.
Along with the above features, the Elegance Plus variant gets a TrackPro car
tracking system, which will allow the owner of the car to configure many
details even when the system is disconnected or reconnected.
BANGALORE: Low budget sedans have been a great success in Indian
market and to capitalize the sales this segment offers Ford India is all set to
launch its most awaited sedan the Ford Figo Aspire. With this thorough
outbreak the company is also planning to launch two more cars by the end
of 2015 to rev up the sales in India, reports ONCARS.
Although Fiesta bought in some huge sales figures for Ford it has drastically
reduced due to tough competition from its rivals. However, the new Figo
Aspire is set to replace Fiesta and rival against the likes of the Tata Zest,
Maruti Swift Dzire, Hyundai Xcent and the Honda Amaze in the list of highly
competitive compact sedans.
Variants
The Ford Figo Aspire will be available in four variants—Ambiente, Trend,
Titanium and Titanium+ and will be offered with three engine options that
include 1.2-litre Ti-VCT petrol, a 1.5-litre Ti-VCT petrol and a 1.5-litre TDCi
diesel.
The 1.2-litre Ti-VCT petrol will churn out 88bhp of power and 112Nm of
torque, whereas the 1.5-litre TDCI diesel will power out 99bhp and 215Nm
of torque. Both the engines are mated to a five-speed manual transmissions.
There is also a six-speed dual clutch automatic on offer. This gearbox comes
mated to a stronger 1.5-litre Ti-VCT petrol engine that produces 110bhp and
136Nm of torque.
Specs and Features
Aside from the engine trims, the new Aspire is set to come loaded with lot of
features that include Bluetooth telephony, integrated infotainment system,
steering mounted phone and audio controls, automatic climate control and
height adjustable seats. On the safety front all the models will get standard
ABS and two airbags, whereas the top-end variant will come with a
staggering six airbags.

Price: 6.80 lakh to 8.6 Lakh (Ex-Showroom)
The German car maker has certainly surprised its rival car makers with this
move to add some major features to its most successful hatchback the ‘Polo’.
On what could be a game changer, this update comes just before the festive
season and that certainly makes it clear that VW India is planning to make
the most of the festive season to drive sales.
Coming to what the car maker has added, the 2015 Polo gets, All New turn
LED indicators/blinkers on ORVMs (TL, CL, HL), All New electrically
foldable ORVMs (HL only), All New Cooled glove box (CL, HL), All New
Cruise Control 1st in the premium hatchback segment (HL only).
All the above features is offered in the 2015 refreshed model at difference of
12,000, which looks to be a smartly worked out price, which none of its
rivals have offered till date.
Maruti Suzuki Swift SP Limited Edition
Price: 5.15 lakh to 6.20 lakh (Ex-Showroom)
Swift without a festive offer is unthinkable of and that’s the reason Maruti is
introducing a limited edition dubbed as the SP. This offering will target the
basic variants of the models like the LXi and LDi which is not making
enough sales for the car maker.
This edition will feature new wheel covers, fog lamps, blacked out A-pillar,
body colored wing mirrors and an ‘SP’ badge on the driver’s door. Changes
are more inclusive on the inside as the car gets a 4-speaker audio system
with Bluetooth, reverse parking sensors, SP branded cushions with memory
foam, new seat fabric, a leather steering wheel cover, power assist for all
four windows, central locking with keyless entry and 60:40 rear split. What
makes it more interesting is that all the above features will be offered at a
reasonable price of 5.15 lakh rupees (ex-Showroom) for the LXi and 6.20
Lakh (ex-Showroom) for the LDi variant.
