FLOPPY DISK In 1971, IBM introduced the first "memory disk",
as it was called then, or the "floppy disk" as it is
known today.
The "floppy" was invented by IBM engineers
led by Alan Shugart.
The nickname "floppy" came from the disk's flexibility.
LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY - LCDA LCD or liquid crystal display is a type of flat panel display commonly used in digital devices, for example: digital clocks, appliance displays, and portable computers.
