•  Required  if  student  will  be  taking  the  iPad  home  •  $30/year/student,  $90  family  cap,  F/R  exempt  •  Covers  insurance  and  soWware  costs  for  management  and  filtering  –  Insurance  covers  the  first  $50  in  damage  for  2  incidents  

– Does  not  cover  malicious  damage  –  TheW  must  be  reported  –  Strongly  encouraging  the  use  of  “Find  My  iPad”  

Setup  Process  

1.  Return  Apple  ID  permission  slip  (May)  2.  Complete  the  iPad  Home  Usage  Agreement  3.  Submit  Payment  for  Tech  Fee  4.  Come  to  Early  Pickup  –  Complete  #2  &  #3  if  not  done  already  –  Guided  iPad  setup  with  a  staff  member  

5.  Bring  the  iPad  to  school  on  August  27  

Using  the  iPad  at  Home  

•  The  iPad  can  be  connected  to  any  available  wifi  network  

•  Content  filtering  is  always  enabled  •  PrinNng  is  possible  with  any  AirPrint  enabled  printer  

•  External  Bluetooth  keyboards  can  be  used  •  Full  use  of  any  app  as  long  as  it  meets  the  age  requirements  in  the  App  Store
