Memorial Day is a United States federal holiday observed on the

last Monday of May (May 30 in 2011). Formerly known as

Decoration Day, it commemorates U.S. soldiers who died while in

the military service. First enacted to honor Union and Confederate

soldiers following the American Civil War, it was extended after

World War I to honor Americans who have died in all wars

Independence Day, commonly known as the Fourth of July, is a

federal holiday in the United States commemorating the adoption

of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, declaring

independence from the Kingdom of Great Britain. Independence

Day is commonly associated with fireworks, parades, barbecues,

carnivals, fairs, picnics, concerts, baseball games and various

other public and private events celebrating the history,

government, and traditions of the United States.

Candy Buffet Made Easy!

• One of the hottest trends is using the “Candy Buffet” idea.

• You can create a beautiful table center matching your special event or wedding colors or have an actual Candy Buffet as a dessert table.

• Sky is the limit! Possibilities are endless! Put your imagination in the works and have a beautiful party!

Simple Steps for a Candy Buffet:

1. Plan ahead

Begin to plan your candy buffet at least 3 to 4 months prior to the event. This will give you enough time to put everything together and make any

important changes before the party.

2. Figure out the quantity

Plan to have about 6 to 8 oz(about 1/2 lb.). of candy per guest.

3. Choose theme colors & flavors

Choose your candy buffet items based upon your party's theme and colors. Then decide on the type of candy choices you would like to give your

guests.

4. Decide the setting

Choose a buffet table and take note of its shape and dimensions. To help with planning, draw your buffet table on a sheet of graph paper, then

sketch in an arrangement of containers. Purchase containers for the candy buffet, such as glass vases, jars and bowls. Clear containers work

better because the guests can see what is inside of them.

Order the candy

Plan to order the candy so that it will arrive about 7 days prior to the event. Allow yourself a buffer zone in case there're any changes. Please see

our Shipping Policies.
