Start the journey in Siem Reap where an ancient heritage complex locates, that becomes a symbol of
Cambodia and one of the most incredible places in the world. Then travel to Phnom Penh, once was
known as the Paris of the orient, get to know the bloody days at killing fields, and visit Royal palace
where the king is living now. Head to Ho Chi Minh city, the beating heart of southern Vietnam,
exploring the robust of Mekong River and underground system in Cu Chi tunnels. See the former
imperial capital of the Nguyen Dynasty in Hue and step back in time at charming ancient town - Hoi
An. Transfer to the North, discover the marriage of Vietnamese and French culture and architecture
in Hanoi city. Finally, immerse yourself in the emerald water in Halong Bay.
DAY 1: WELCOME TO CAMBODIA - SIEM REAP ARRIVAL
Pick up from the airport and transfer to the hotel check in. After successfully checking in the
hotel, we take short walk along the road in front of the King’s Residence to see the Main Shrine,
where the local people usually worship, with its statue of Yeay Teap, Preah Ang Chek and Preah
Ang Chorm. Buying jasmine and lotus flowers to worship is very important for the Cambodians.
Then continue to Wat Bo, a large, highly respected pagoda, founded in the 18th Century. Like the
Silver Pagoda in Phnom Penh, the vihear of Wat Bo contains unique wall paintings of the
Reamker that are said to be late 19th Century. Look for the daily-life market scenes such as an
opium smoking Chinese merchant, the colonial era French officer at the market and the French
soldiers attending a traditional dance performance. Also of interest is the large collection of
Buddha statues located behind the main Buddha. We will continue to "Chantiers Ecoles - Les
Artisans d'Angkor" which provides training to young Cambodians in an effort to revive the
ancient Khmer traditions of stone carving and wood sculpting.

DAY 2: EXPLORE THE CAPITAL OF ANCIENT KHMER (B)
After breakfast, visit to The South Gate of Angkor Thom: Bayob Temple, The Royal Enclosure,
Phimeanaka, Elephant and Leper King Terrace. Continue visit to Ta Promh (the jungle temple).
After lunch, visit to Thommanan, Chaosay Tevoda, Ta Keo: small, attractive temple in very good
condition, built all the same time as Angkor Wat. Continue to Angkor Wat: The “7th Wonders’of
the World”. World Heritage Site since 1992, famous for its beauty and splendor. Angkor Wat
features the longest continuous bas-relief in the world, which runs along the outer gallery walls
and narrates stories from Hindu mythology. Continue visit to Bakheng Hill: Sunset viewing on the

top of the hill. Bakheng is the first major temple to be constructed in the Angkor area; this
temple-mountain offers extraordinary views of the Tonle Sap and Angkor Wat.

DAY 3: HEADING TO PHNOM PENH (B)
Breakfast at the hotel – Transfer overland to Phnom Penh. En route, we will stop for a quick visit
at the spider market. Then continue to Phnom Penh. Lunch at local restaurant in Phnom Penh.
Afternoon, Visit to Royal Palace is a royal residence now where His Majesty, the King of
Cambodia, and the royal families live. it is like a small town of royal dynasties. Continue to Silver
Pagoda, serves less as a functioning temple than a repository for cultural treasures such as 90 kg
golden Buddha encrusted with 2086 diamonds. Finally visit Wat Phnom Temple is one of the
most important pagodas in Phnom Penh. Built in 1373 on an artificial hill by the wealthy widow
Daun Chi Penh.

DAY 4: TRAVEL FROM PHNOM PENH TO HO CHI MINH CITY (B)
Breakfast at hotel. Visit Tuol Sleng Museum (S-21 prison), this former school was used as a
prison by Pol Pot’s security forces. More than 17,000 people held at S-21 were taken to the
extermination camp at Choeng Ek to be executed. Visit Russian Market (Toul Tumpong Market),
this Market has gained a reputation for cheap clothing, a large selection of Buddha images and
woodcarvings, betel-nut boxes, silk, silver jewelry, and classic music instrument. Then you will be
transferred to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh.
Upon arrival in Ho Chi Minh city, our driver will meet you and transfer to your hotel, rest of the
day is at your leisure.

DAY 5: DISCOVER THE FASCINATING CU CHI TUNNEL (B)
Today you will be picked up by an experienced English-speaking guide to Cu Chi Tunnels, located
in the countryside near Ho Chi Minh City. Approximate travel time is one hour and 30 minutes.
The residents of Cu Chi took the war underground into a highly developed network of tunnels
that at its height stretched as far as Cambodia and included meeting rooms, kitchens and triage
areas. Imperceptible from the ground, opposing armies could roll their tanks over the bunkers
without causing damage to the tunnels below. Living conditions were harsh – in addition to
fighting the war, resident’s battled food and oxygen scarcity, venomous insects, and cramped
living quarters. Gain important insight into the prolonged struggle against invading armies, and
appreciation for the resilience and spirit of the Vietnamese people. After that, travelers can try
the delicious manioc which was the main food for guerilla-warriors in Cu Chi during the war.
Visitors can try to fire off an AK47 or MK16 or machine guns at the nearby shooting range.
Then enjoy a transferred back to your accommodation.

DAY 6: SAILING THROUGH MIGHTY MEKONG DELTA - GROUP TOUR (B/L)
(start 7.20am – return around 17.30)
7:20am Pick up from hotel.
Kick start your day with a hearty breakfast and a trip to Mekong Delta follows, depart for My Tho,
the town lies on the left side of the Mekong River. Boarding the sampan and cruising down the
river around the four beautiful islands known as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix and Tortoise islands.
Stop over at Unicorn Island, go walking around country lane and seeing orchards, enjoy tropical
fruits, folk song music which performed by the local people. Visit the fruit plantation.
Riding a hand-rowed sampan through Thoi Son canal and treat yourself in the beauty of the
countryside, visit the family business, visit honey-bee farm, enjoy honey tea and coconut candy
workshop.
Have lunch at local restaurant. Break time.
In the afternoon, time for cycling around the Tan Thach village, meet the local villagers to
experience the local daily life in the Mekong delta. Hammock relaxing and enjoy cool breeze for
those can’t join the cycling trip. Return to Ho Chi Minh

DAY 7: FROM VIBRANT HO CHI MINH CITY TO GRACEFUL HUE (B)
Have breakfast at the hotel, have a free leisure time until there will be a private cab transfer you
to the airport, and ready for the next flight to Hue. Upon arrival you will be transferred to your
hotel in Hue. After hotel check in have some leisure time in Hue.

DAY 8: HUE CITY TOUR (B/L)
Have breakfast at the hotel. The guide will pick you up around 8:00-8:30 am, and you will head to
the boat station, from where you will take a boat trip. The dragon boat will cruise along the
Perfume River to Thien Mu Pagoda, which is considered to be the most beautiful pagoda in
Vietnam. Then you will head to the Imperial Citadel, the residence of the Nguyen Dynasty, which
was Vietnam’s last royal dynasty. Then you will visit The Royal Antiques Museum, one of the first
museums in Vietnam. Many collections of ancient Hue and Royal antiques are displayed here:
bronze wares, china, music instruments, royal attires and personal belongings of the Emperor
family of Nguyen Dynasty. Then continue to Dong Ba market – the best place for cultural gifts and
souvenirs.
Have lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon you will visit the Emperors Tombs such as
Emperor Khai Dinh (1885-1925) Tomb, famous for its beauty and unique architecture style, and

Emperor Minh Mang (1791-1841) Tomb. On the way back to Hue you will have a stopover at the
Conical Hat village to see how famous Vietnamese traditional hats Non-La are produced, and the
Incense stick making village to observe how locals make sandalwood and cinnamon incenses.
Arrive back to your hotel around 4:00-4:30 pm.

DAY 9: VISIT VIETNAM MOST PICTURESQUE OLD TOWN - HOI AN (B)
8:00 our driver and tour guide will pick you up at your hotel in Hue. The first part of your journey
is through the coastal plains and valley south of Hue. Stop on the way to visit Thanh Toan Bridge,
an ancient architectural monument which are extremely valuable in terms of history and culture.
As one of the bridges which is rare and high artistic value in Vietnam, Thanh Toan deserves an
impressive tourist attraction in Hue tourism.
Then you reach Lang Co beach, a haven for relaxation retreat for American forces during the war
time. Today, it is an active fishing village. Enjoy wandering and admiring the views of Lang Co
beach.
Afterward we travel up and over the Hai Van pass towards Danang. With your guide, you will
visit Marble Mountains to explore many natural caves in which Buddhist sanctuaries have been
built over the centuries. The Marble Mountains surrounding the area with five stone hillocks -
once islands made of marble - and each represented one of the five elements of the universe.
Arrive the laidback town of Hoi An in the afternoon.

DAY 10: HOI AN BASKET BOAT AND FISHING TOUR- FLIGHT TO HANOI (B/L)
Today your English-speaking guide will meet you at the hotel and take you to a tour of the
countryside and rivers around Hoi An. As you meander through the countryside you will
experience the friendliness of the local people greeting you along the way. After that, you will
board the Hoi An Eco-tour boat for a river cruise to meet and engage with local fishermen. Enjoy
a hands-on experience of traditional net fishing. You will also take a paddle boat trip in a unique
Vietnamese bamboo basket boat down the waterways of a coconut palm paradise.
In the afternoon, leisure time on your own exploring the ancient town or relaxing at the hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel.Get pick-up by the Cruise at 7:30. Take the most scenic route to reach
Halong Bay, taking you across the Red River Delta with emerald green rice paddies stretching for
as far as the eyes can see. On arrival at Halong, you get to enjoy a cruise on the Bay to better
explore the limestone rocks and the karst grottoes.
After you are done with your exploration of the bay, it is time to enjoy an utterly delicious
seafood lunch, after which a trip to the famous limestone cave in Ha Long bay, you’ll get to spend
some time here, kayaking or swimming, so that you can get closer to the floating villages and
shops. Towards the evening, you will return to the boat for an early dinner, followed by some
time at leisure. You can opt to attend the activities taking part in the boat or relax for the day.

DAY 12: BACK TO TRANQUIL CAPITAL (B/L)
Rise early for a Tai Chi lesson or just to enjoy a hearty breakfast. The boat will make its way back
to the port stopping at the Limestone Cave, full of stalagmites and stalactites. From here, it’s clear
sailing back to the main harbor and the return Hanoi around 17:00. Free at your leisure time.

DAY 13: GETAWAY FROM BIG CITIES WITH BA VI ECO TOUR (B/L)
Have breakfast at the hotel then you will be escorted by an experienced English-speaking guide, a
countryside located at the outskirt of Hanoi. The approximate travel time is one hour and 30
minutes.
Then arriving at Mr. Duoc’s house, you will be welcomed with fresh honey tea and green lentils or
lotus seeds that made by his family. Imagine a Vietnam in the old time of war through stories of
Mr. Duoc, who is not only a veteran who lives during those hard times but also a green tea expert.
You will visit his tea plantation which is one of the largest in Ri village and join with locals in
green tea processing. Afterward, have a Vietnamese cooking demonstration with another local
host and then enjoy a home-cooked lunch in a lovely garden. After that, you will wander around
the village and mingling with local people. You will visit the local craftsman who has been skilled
at making conical hats from a very young age and other workshops in the village to see how
people there make tofu or shell the rice. As you meander through the countryside you will
experience the friendliness of the local people greeting you along the way. Then join your guides
for a leisurely cycling trip along the country roads. Observe traditional Vietnamese rural life as
the local people work in the paddy fields. Along the way, watch out for a water buffalo plowing a
paddy field while ducks swim across the top. Stop at another host family for foot bathing
following the recipes of Muong ethnic group and relaxing time before embarking on your private
boat for a trip along the Da river. Later, enjoy a transfer from Ba Vi to your accommodations in
Hanoi’s Old Quarter.

9:00am – Your tour begins in the back streets of Nguyen Thien Thuat - The Lively Saigon. Passing
through typical city streets, you will see shops, including many Vietnamese custom guitar shops.
Walking through this lively area, you will see many interesting eateries, residential buildings, and
you will be surrounded by the sights and sounds of local life. Don’t forget your camera as there
are many beautiful images awaiting your discovery. You will walk to Ban Co market, where you
can enjoy some amazing ‘che’ - desserts made from beans, sticky rice and coconut milk.
10:00am – Stroll through Districts 10 and 5, seeing more typical residential buildings. Take in all
the sights, shops, street food stands and be sure to keep an eye out for rickshaws passing by.
11:30am – Walk along Hai Thuong Lang Ong and Trieu Quang Phuc streets, which is where you
find traditional medical shops in Chinatown. You will see traditional clinics and medicinal herb
stores. Visit Thien Hau Temple, where Chinese people worship Heavenly Queen - an important
god in their culture.

sampan, and cruise down the river, around the four beautiful islands known as Dragon, Unicorn,
Phoenix and Tortoise islands.
You will disembark at Unicorn Island, where you will walk along country lanes, see lush orchards,
enjoy some fresh tropical fruits, listen to folk songs performed by local musicians and visit a fruit
plantation.

DAY 5: HOI AN FOOD TOUR
Discover the Old Town of Hoi An after the sun has gone down — not only is it the best way to
escape the midday heat, it’s also the perfect excuse to dig into its tasty street food scene!
Your Hoi An food tour starts around sunset, and will walk you through local cafes, food stalls,
markets, and restaurants, providing you with a memorable taste of Hoi An.
First up – a local bakery that has been making the tastiest Banh Mi in town for over 20 years.
They use the freshest local ingredients, and are famous for their Banh Mi, a scrumptious
sandwich that will fire up your taste buds and get them ready for the flavors ahead!
Next, you will join some locals at a small eatery, taking a seat on the ubiquitous small plastic
chairs and sampling tasty BBQ pork rolled with rice paper and fresh herbs. Served with typical
soy dipping sauce, this dish is one of the highlights of the local food scene and an absolute must-
do.
Our food tour of Hoi An continues into the atmospheric heart of the city as we head straight for
the central market, where you will see hundreds of street hawkers and food stalls selling a
staggering array of local products, including fresh noodles, sweet jelly, seasonal fruits, and the
freshest seafood. Your guide will walk you through the colorful array of ingredients, filling you in
on the most popular dishes in Hoi An and the significance of these foods to the traditional culture
of central Vietnam.
From here, you will dig even deeper into the local food scene, passing through a maze of tiny
alleys to emerge at one of our favorite, secret restaurants in Hoi An, where we’ll sample two of
Hoi An’s specialties: deep-fried wonton, and white rose dumplings.

Continuing into the atmospheric heart of the Old Quarter, we wander past street stalls and quiet
residential lanes where you can observe local life that has changed little since Hanoi was founded
over 1000 years ago.
Our next two snack stops are at outdoor barbecue stalls. We sit down with the Hanoi locals and
sample various meat, vegetable and bread specialties that are flame grilled over hot coals for
extra flavor. Ready for dessert? Venture down a small alley to join in the local tradition of feasting
on fresh fruit served in a cup and smothered with crushed ice and condensed milk – this specialty
is one not to be missed!
Your local guide will then take you to one of Hanoi’s best kept secrets, a hidden street food
restaurant to taste a top ten street food in Hanoi: Banh My Hanoi, Vietnamese Rice Wine, and the
city’s famous Egg Coffee. This hard-to-find cafe is one of the few left in the narrow streets inside

DAY 8: HA NOI - HA LONG BAY (B/L/D)
Enjoy breakfast before checking out of your hotel for your pickup. Take in all the amazing
scenery on your drive to Halong Bay, taking you across the Red River Delta with emerald green
rice paddies stretching for as far as the eye can see. On arrival at Halong, you will board your boat
to enjoy a cruise on this remarkable Bay. Take in the breathtaking scenery of this natural wonder,
and explore the limestone rocks and the karst grottoes.
After exploring the bay, it is time to enjoy a remarkable and delicious seafood lunch. After lunch,
you will visit the famous limestone cave in Ha Long Bay, after which you can kayak or swim, so
that you can get closer to the floating villages and shops. You will return to the boat for a
delectable dinner, followed by some relaxing leisure time to enjoy the amazing scenery. You can

DAY 9: HA LONG- HA NOI (B/L)
Rise early for a lesson in Tai Chi, or just enjoy your hearty breakfast. The boat will stop to visit
the Limestone Cave, full of stalagmites and stalactites. From here, it’s clear sailing back to the
main harbor. Enjoy the scenery on your drive back to Hanoi, returning around 16:00, followed
with free leisure time.

Then arriving at Mr. Duoc’s house, you will be welcomed with fresh honey tea and green lentils or

Mr. Duoc, who is not only a veteran who lives during those hard times but also a green tea expert.
You will visit his tea plantation which is one of the largest in Ri village and join with locals in

DAY 6: EXPLORE THE FASCINATING UNDERGROUND SYSTEMS (B)
Today you will be picked up by an experienced English-speaking guide to Cu Chi Tunnels, located
in the countryside near Ho Chi Minh City. Approximate travel time is one hour and 30 minutes.
The residents of Cu Chi took the war underground into a highly developed network of tunnels
that at its height stretched as far as Cambodia and included meeting rooms, kitchens and triage
areas. Imperceptible from the ground, opposing armies could roll their tanks over the bunkers
without causing damage to the tunnels below. Living conditions were harsh – in addition to
fighting the war, resident’s battled food and oxygen scarcity, venomous insects, and cramped
living quarters. Gain important insight into the prolonged struggle against invading armies, and
appreciation for the resilience and spirit of the Vietnamese people. After that, travelers can try
the delicious manioc which was the main food for guerilla-warriors in Cu Chi during the war.
Visitors can try to fire off an AK47 or MK16 or machine guns at the nearby shooting range.
Then enjoy a transferred back to your accommodation.

DAY 7: DISCOVER THE "RICE BASKET OF VIETNAM" (B/L)
8.00 am, pick up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City, depart for Mekong Delta tour southward
Vietnam.
On arrival in Cai Be, set off for the Cai Be floating market by motorboats and watch the locals
trading fruit and many other commodities on their vessels. Visit a small family business to see
how coconut candy and crispy rice popcorn are made. Then wander in small villages, visit fruit
plantations, accompanied by traditional southern Vietnamese folk music. Afterward, paddling
through a series of small canals to experience the charm of the Upper Mekong Delta, arrive in Tan
Phong Island, the green pearl where you can enjoy yourself with nature.
Lunchtime is a good chance to get closer with the local and you will learn how to prepare special
Vietnamese dishes. Food is cooked by you, and fresh river food is served in the heart of the
garden. Cycling in the village path through orchards, meet the local islanders to learn more about
the local daily life in the Mekong Delta.

DAY 03: HA NOI – OVERNIGHT TRAIN TO SAPA (B)
Have a free day in Hanoi – a unique Asian city with tree-lined boulevards, French colonial

Get back to hotel and get ready for the night train trip.

DAY 04: SAPA - Y LINH HO - LAO CHAI - TA VAN (B/L/D) GROUP TOUR
You will be picked up at the Lao Cai station and transferred to Sapa for breakfast and some rest.
Then start 12 km trekking. You will visit Y Linh Ho and Lao Chai villages of the H’mong minority,
where you will see their traditional life, walk through the rice terraces and a small trail on the hill
mountainside. Then have lunch, after which you will continue hiking to Ta Van village of the Dzay
people, where you will stay overnight at a local family. Here you will have an opportunity to
experience their daily life, work, and original customs.

DAY 05: TA VAN - GIANG TA CHAI - SAPA - HANOI (B/L)
After breakfast you will check out and leave your luggage in the hotel, get ready for the trip. Trek
down to Lao Chai village to visit the Tay and Day tribes then keep going along the bottom of the
Sapa valley to get to Ta Van village which is supposed to be the most beautiful one in the area.
Have a picnic lunch on the way. You go back to Sapa by motorbike/jeep. Back to Lao Cai Station
by our car, then dinner at your account.

DAY 12: MEKONG DELTA TOUR MY THO (B/L) – GROUP TOUR
08.30 – 08.45 AM: Pick up at your hotel
Kick start your day with a hearty breakfast and a trip to Mekong Delta follows, depart for My Tho,
the town lies on the left side of the Mekong River. Boarding the sampan and cruising down the
river around the four beautiful islands known as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix and Tortoise islands.
Stop over at Unicorn Island, go walking around country lane and seeing orchards, enjoy tropical
fruits, folk song music which performed by the local people. Visit the fruit plantation.
Riding a hand-rowed sampan through Thoi Son canal and treat yourself in the beauty of the
countryside, visit the family business, visit honey-bee farm, enjoy honey tea and coconut candy
workshop.
Have lunch at local restaurant. Break time.
In the afternoon, time for cycling around the Tan Thach village, meet the local villagers to

Upon arrival at Lao Cai station, your guide will meet and greets you to this beautiful region of

village, sitting comfortably in a valley with cleared hillsides and rustic farmland. Stretch your legs
as you walk off the bus, enjoy a picnic lunch then begin a trek to Ta Van village of the Dzay ethnic

After breakfast at your homestay, trekking to Giang Ta Chai – home to the Red Dzao hill people.
Push on through 18 kilometres of terraced farmland and bamboo scrub for excellent views of
emerald valleys and rushing waterfalls as you stroll on by. Take a picnic lunch along the way, and
then depart by bus to Sapa. Once you arrive in Sapa, enjoy some free time to rest your legs. Free
time to visit the local market, this is where you can indulge in some local goods, such as dyed
fabrics, hemp plants and handmade textiles. Then get ready for overnight at the A/C soft sleeper
cabin to Hanoi (schedule: 21:00 – 05:00)

DAY 5: HANOI – HALONG BAY (B/L/D)
Arrive at Hanoi station in the morning, you will meet our representative at the train station and
transferring to the hotel for freshen up. Have breakfast then check-out of the hotel, ready for a
private transfer to Halong Bay. The route taking you across the Red River Delta with emerald
green rice paddies stretching for as far as the eyes can see. On arrival at Ha Long, you get to enjoy
a cruise on the Bay to better explore the limestone rocks and the karst grottoes.
After you are done with your exploration of the bay, it is time to enjoy an utterly delicious
seafood lunch, after which a trip to the famous limestone cave in Ha Long bay, you’ll get to spend
some time here, kayaking or swimming, so that you can get closer to the floating villages and
shops. Towards the evening, you will return to the boat for an early dinner, followed by some

DAY 7: HOA LU - TAM COC TOUR (B/L) - NIGHT TRAIN TO HUE
Today you will experience the ancient culture and history of Vietnam as well as seeing the
stunning landscape and beautiful scenery when we travel to the Ninh Binh Province. This area is
known as “Ha Long Bay on land” and is located 80 km South of Hanoi.
We will go for a relaxing sampan ride through the gentle and elegant landscape of plains and
mountains, leading to the beautiful and mysterious Tam Coc Grottoes followed by a gentle cycle
ride (4km) and boat ride to Bich Dong Cave and Pagoda. This journey takes you through breath
taking scenery of rice fields and imposing mountains. We have lunch in local restaurant. Then
head off to Hoa Lu, formally the capital of the Dinh and early Le dynasties between the 10th and
11thcenturies. After that head back to Ha Noi train station for a night train to Hue - the ancient
citadel of Vietnam.

DAY 8: STEP BACK IN TIME AT THE IMPERIAL CITY OF HUE (B/L)
You will arrive to Hue train station in the morning. Your guide will meet and greet you at the
arrival gate. Then start your trip with the exploring Imperial Citadel, the residence of the Nguyen
Dynasty, which was Vietnam’s last royal dynasty. From there, you will visit The Royal Antiques
Museum, one of the first museums in Vietnam. Many collections of ancient Hue and Royal
antiques are displayed here: bronze wares, china, music instruments, royal attires and personal
belongings of the Emperor family of Nguyen Dynasty. Then continue to Dong Ba market – the
best place for cultural gifts and souvenirs.
Fueled yourself up at a local restaurant. In the afternoon you will visit the Emperors Tombs such
as Emperor Khai Dinh (1885-1925) Tomb, famous for its beauty and unique architecture style,
and Emperor Minh Mang (1791-1841) Tomb. On the way back to Hue you will have a stopover at
the Conical Hat village to see how famous Vietnamese traditional hats Non-La are produced, and
the Incense stick making village to observe how locals make sandalwood and cinnamon incenses.

You start the easy hike along the Xia River and the primeval forests to Ban Buoc. Along the way,
you will pass through Den, Ngo, Xum des Thai and Muong villages where a variety of minority
groups with their own unique culture and languages are living. Return to Mai Hich by a pleasant
bamboo raft ride along the Xia river crossing rice fields of corn and rice, observation of the daily
life of local people. Back at the homestay, relax with a cold drink while watching the sun set over
the peaceful mountains.

DAY 5: MAI HICH – NINH BINH (B)
Today is dedicated to exploring the villages and scenic countryside of provincial Vietnam. The
journey from Mai Chau to Ninh Binh is fairly easy and leisurely-paced. You'll have plenty of
opportunities to take some photos of the surrounding valleys, sugarcane farms and rice paddies
that compose the landscape. Final stop for the day is the small town of Ninh Binh. The Ninh Binh
province is famed for its spectacular limestone karst scenery, lush rice paddies and gently
flowing waterways. Then you take a nice sampan ride in Van Long which will take you through
the picturesque landscapes of the tormented mountains, planted in the middle of the rice fields.

Back on board your private car; enjoy some easier travel on the drive to Halong Bay – home for
the next night. Factoring in some stop-offs along the way, the journey will take approximately 4
hours. Take the most scenic route to Halong Bay across the Red River Delta with emerald green
rice paddies. On arrival to Halong, you will take a cruise on the bay to explore the limestone rocks
and the karst grottoes.
After you are done with your exploration of the bay, it is time to enjoy an utterly delicious lunch
on boat, after which a trip to the famous limestone cave in Ha Long bay, you’ll get to spend some
time here, kayaking or swimming, so that you can get closer to the floating villages and shops.
Towards the evening, you will return to the boat for an early dinner, followed by some time at
leisure. You can also attend the activities taking part on the boat.

DAY 7: HALONG BAY – HANOI – OVERNIGHT TRAIN TO HUE (B/L)
In the early morning, enjoy a Tai Chi sessions on the sundeck or relax with an early morning cup of tea, coffee or juice to watch the stunning scenery unfold before you. After that, a light breakfast will be served on board. Upon completing breakfast, continue your journey through the mysterious caves and amongst the remote islets via local rowing boats. The breath-taking beauty of this World Heritage region will certainly impress you. Later in the morning, return to your main ship where brunch will be served while cruise draw closer to the mainland.

You will arrive to Hue train station in the morning. Your guide will meet and greet you at the
arrival gate. Then start your trip with the exploring Imperial Citadel, the residence of the Nguyen
Dynasty, which was Vietnam’s last royal dynasty. From there, you will visit The Royal Antiques
Museum, one of the first museums in Vietnam. Many collections of ancient Hue and Royal
antiques are displayed here: bronze wares, china, music instruments, royal attires and personal
belongings of the Emperor family of Nguyen Dynasty. Then continue to Dong Ba market – the
best place for cultural gifts and souvenirs.
Have lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon you will visit the Emperors Tombs such as
Emperor Khai Dinh (1885-1925) Tomb, famous for its beauty and unique architecture style, and
Emperor Minh Mang (1791-1841) Tomb. On the way back to Hue you will have a stopover at the
Conical Hat village to see how famous Vietnamese traditional hats Non-La are produced, and the
Incense stick making village to observe how locals make sandalwood and cinnamon incenses.

Have departure towards Nghia Lo, Yen Bai. Some stops are planned on the way to visit ethnic

particular, you will see fields of tea plantation as far as the eye can see and you can enjoy a
picturesque landscape during the blossoms season of peach and plum trees, which takes place in
late January - early February. You will reach the Muong Lo Valley, where the town of Nghia Lo is
located in the late afternoon. Muong Lo is the second largest rice granary in the northwest and is
also the capital of the Thai ethnic group.

the Hoang Lien Son range, where the tallest mountains of Indochina are found. Start the trekking

Le, continue your trip to North Vietnam. You will reach the Khau Pha pass, one of the most

In the morning, embark on a long bus journey (approximately 7 hours) to the province of Ha
Giang. This is a highland region of forests and terraced rice paddies, with the mountains of
Heaven’s Gate (Quan Ba pass) soaring in the background. The Ha Giang province also shares a
border with southern China, and is known as Vietnam's final frontier. After relaxing and getting
to know your surrounds, visit the local markets and shopfronts, which are relics of a bygone era.
Afterwards venture to the the local museum and explore Cuom Village, witnessing the colourful
traditional dress of the local people. The evening is free to spend as you wish.

DAY 5: HA GIANG – DONG VAN (B)
Today, leave for the first of many scenic mountain drives throughout Ha Giang province. Stop to browse Minh Tao Market before wandering through the village of Nam Luong. Afterwards pass through Lung Tam textile village and the Vuong Family Palace in Sa Phin commune, built in the shape of a royal Manchu palace. This is known as former palace of the Hmongs’ King before continuing to Dong Van where you'll spend the night.

DAY 6: DONG VAN – MEO VAC – BAO LAC (B)
This morning, we take the most spectacular road in all of Vietnam, which winds for 15 km to the
top of the Ma Pi Leng pass, a hulk of desert peaks and unique canyons in the world. We then
descend on Meo Vac for lunch. Visit the Meo Vac market before setting off on a trekking loop that
starts and finishes in Dong Van. The trek (approximately 4 hours in total) is moderate and
suitable for those with an average fitness level. Wind your way through the spectacular
landscape, where you can expect to witness glorious views and capture some amazing pictures of
lush valleys and rice paddies. After that, drive past terraced rice farms on the road to Bao Lac
(approximately 4 hours), a small town in the mountainous region of northern Vietnam. The area
is home to the Black Lo Lo ethnic group, who are well known for their colourful attire and finesse
in making bronze drums. The bronze drums hold a special place in Lo Lo customs, being used at
funerals and important family events. In Lo Lo culture, only the sound of the drums can help the
souls of the dead find their way to the birthplace of their ancestors.

DAY 7: BAO LAC – BA BE (B)
Travel on to Ba Be Lake early in the morning (approximately 4 hours). Once there, head down the
river by boat on an exploration of Ba Be National Park, visiting the largest natural lake in
Vietnam. Disembark for some light walks along the way, visiting the impressive waterfalls that
feed the lake and observing the natural flora and fauna. Return to land in the afternoon and head
to a family-owned guesthouse Pac Ngoi village where you will be spending the night. The family
you’re staying with will prepare lunch and the rest of the day is then free to explore. In the

DAY 8: BA BE – HANOI (B)
After breakfast, boat trip to go up the lake and the Nang river to the Dau Dang waterfalls. Small
stroll to admire the waterfall the embark on the boat to go up the river and crossing the lake
from north to south. Then back to your homestay and ready to transfer to Hanoi.

DAY 9: HANOI – NINH BINH - HANOI (B)
Today you will experience the ancient culture and history of Vietnam as well as seeing the
stunning landscape and beautiful scenery when we travel to the Ninh Binh Province. This area is
known as “Ha Long Bay on land” and is located 80 km South of Hanoi.
We will go for a relaxing sampan ride through the gentle and elegant landscape of plains and
mountains, leading to the beautiful and mysterious Tam Coc Grottoes followed by a gentle cycle
ride (4km) and boat ride to Bich Dong Cave and Pagoda. This journey takes you through breath
taking scenery of rice fields and imposing mountains. We have lunch in local restaurant. Then
head off to Hoa Lu, formally the capital of the Dinh and early Le dynasties between the 10th and
11thcenturies.
We will then head back to Ha Noi later in the evening.

DAY 10: HANOI – HALONG BAY (B)
In the morning, after having breakfast at the hotel, you will travel to Halong Bay with our private
car. Take the most scenic route to reach Halong Bay, taking you across the Red River Delta with
emerald green rice paddies stretching for as far as the eyes can see. On arrival to Halong, you will
enjoy a cruise on the Bay and explore the limestone rocks and the karst grottoes.
After you are done with your exploration of the bay, it is time to enjoy an utterly delicious
seafood lunch, after which there will be a trip to the famous limestone cave in Ha Long bay, you’ll
get to spend some time here, kayaking or swimming, so that you can get closer to the floating
villages and shops. Towards the evening, you will return to the boat for an early dinner, followed
by some time at leisure. You can optionally attend the activities taking part on the boat or just
relax.

host and then enjoy a home-cooked lunch in a lovely garden.
After that, you will wander around the village and mingling with local people. You will visit the
local craftsman who has been skilled at making conical hats from a very young age and other
workshops in the village to see how people there make tofu or shell the rice. As you meander
through the countryside you will experience the friendliness of the local people greeting you
along the way. Then join your guides for a leisurely cycling trip along the country roads. Observe
traditional Vietnamese rural life as the local people work in the paddy fields. Along the way,
watch out for a water buffalo plowing a paddy field while ducks swim across the top. Stop at

DAY 12: HO CHI MINH CITY – CU CHI TUNNELS
Today you will be picked up by an experienced English-speaking guide to Cu Chi Tunnels, located
in the countryside near Ho Chi Minh City. Approximate travel time is one hour and 30 minutes.
The residents of Cu Chi took the war underground into a highly developed network of tunnels
that at its height stretched as far as Cambodia and included meeting rooms, kitchens and triage
areas. Imperceptible from the ground, opposing armies could roll their tanks over the bunkers
without causing damage to the tunnels below. Living conditions were harsh – in addition to
fighting the war, resident’s battled food and oxygen scarcity, venomous insects, and cramped
living quarters. Gain important insight into the prolonged struggle against invading armies, and
appreciation for the resilience and spirit of the Vietnamese people. After that, travelers can try
the delicious manioc which was the main food for guerilla-warriors in Cu Chi during the war.
Visitors can try to fire off an AK47 or MK16 or machine guns at the nearby shooting range.

Then boarding the private sampan and cruising down the river around the four beautiful islands known as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix and Tortoise islands.

DAY 8: HO CHI MINH – CU CHI TUNNELS (B/L)
Today you will be picked up by an experienced English-speaking guide to Cu Chi Tunnels, located
in the countryside near Ho Chi Minh City. Approximate travel time is one hour and 30 minutes.
The residents of Cu Chi took the war underground into a highly developed network of tunnels
that at its height stretched as far as Cambodia and included meeting rooms, kitchens and triage
areas. Imperceptible from the ground, opposing armies could roll their tanks over the bunkers
without causing damage to the tunnels below. Living conditions were harsh – in addition to
fighting the war, resident’s battled food and oxygen scarcity, venomous insects, and cramped
living quarters. Gain important insight into the prolonged struggle against invading armies, and
appreciation for the resilience and spirit of the Vietnamese people. After that, travelers can try
the delicious manioc which was the main food for guerilla-warriors in Cu Chi during the war.

Kick start your day with a hearty breakfast and a trip to Mekong Delta follows, you will be escorted by an experienced English-speaking guide and professional driver to My Tho, the town lies on the left side of the Mekong River. Then boarding the private sampan and cruising down the river around the four beautiful islands known as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix and Tortoise islands.

In the morning you will arrive in Hue. Your guide and driver will meet you at the station and you
will start your Hue exploration.
Start your trip with the exploring Imperial Citadel, the residence of the Nguyen Dynasty, which
was Vietnam’s last royal dynasty. There you will visit The Royal Antiques Museum, one of the
first museums in Vietnam. Many collections of ancient Hue and Royal antiques are displayed
here: bronze wares, china, music instruments, royal attires and personal belongings of the

wondrous ancient ruins with the South Gate of Angkor Thom, which is famous for its series of

most complete temple of Angkor Wat. This architectural masterpiece was constructed in the 12th

vegetable gardening, take as many as photos you like and enjoy seasonal fruits at a village houses.
Afternoon, we will visit the floating village of Chong Khneas, located 10 kilometers south of Siem
Reap. We take a boat trip in a traditional wooden boat on the Tonle Sap Lake, the "Great Lake" of

to reach Halong Bay, taking you across the Red River Delta with emerald green rice paddies
stretching for as far as the eyes can see. On arrival at Halong, you get to enjoy a cruise on the Bay
to better explore the limestone rocks and the karst grottoes.
After you are done with your exploration of the bay, it is time to enjoy an utterly delicious
seafood lunch, after which a trip to the famous limestone cave in Ha Long bay, you’ll get to spend
some time here, kayaking or swimming, so that you can get closer to the floating villages and
shops. Towards the evening, you will return to the boat for an early dinner, followed by some
time at leisure. You can opt to attend the activities taking part in the boat or relax for the day.

DAY 04: HALONG BAY – HANOI – NIGHT TRAIN TO HUE (B/L)
Rise early for a Tai Chi lesson or just to enjoy a hearty breakfast. The boat will make its way back
to the port stopping at the Limestone Cave, full of stalagmites and stalactites. From here, it’s clear
sailing back to the main harbor and transferred back to Hanoi. In the evening our driver will pick
you up from the hotel and transfer to the train station for a night train to Hue.

Start your trip with the exploring Imperial Citadel, the residence of the Nguyen Dynasty, which
was Vietnam’s last royal dynasty. There you will visit The Royal Antiques Museum, one of the
first museums in Vietnam. Many collections of ancient Hue and Royal antiques are displayed
here: bronze wares, china, music instruments, royal attires and personal belongings of the
Emperor family of Nguyen Dynasty. Then continue to Dong Ba market – the best place for cultural
gifts and souvenirs.
In the afternoon you will visit the Emperors Tombs such as Emperor Khai Dinh (1885-1925)
Tomb, famous for its beauty and unique architecture style, and Emperor Minh Mang (1791-1841)

Breakfast at hotel: drive to Chrieve village to admire the local life of people - Taking oxcart riding
tour is a great way to see authentic Cambodia, meet a lot of encounters and interact local people
by visiting their home gardens. Learn their ways of life, Cambodia culture, help them with
vegetable gardening, take as many as photos you like and enjoy seasonal fruits at a village houses.
Afternoon, we will visit the floating village of Chong Khneas, located 10 kilometers south of Siem

wildlife making this area one of the most breathtaking destinations in Laos. If time permit, we can
visit the Don Khone area, which takes you to visit the remains of the French period, Liphi
Waterfall or "the Corridor of the Devil". Then, we drive back to Pakse.

DAY 16: PAKSE – BOLAVEN PLATEAU – LUANG PRABANG (B/-/-)
We leave Pakse around 08:00am and drive to a village known for its knife making, before going to
visit some coffee and tea plantations where we see the production process. We continue to Tad
Fan waterfall, a 120 meters high twin waterfall and visit the area, house of many coffee
plantations. We head on to Tad Yuang where we have lunch, relax, and take a swim if you want.
In the afternoon, we back to Pakse for catching flight to Luang Prabang. Upon arrival at the
airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Luang Prabang is perhaps the best-
preserved traditional city in Southeast Asia. The tranquility and charm of this town with its
splendid natural scenery and cultural sights make it one of the most delightful places to visit in

An optional early start gives you the fantastic opportunity to participate in the daily morning
rituals of saffron-clad monks collecting offerings of Alms (ubiquitous sticky rice) from the faithful
residents. This tradition is very unique in Laos, being the only Buddhist nation still preserving
the procession.
From there you will visit the morning market, where you will see such diverse offerings as dried
buffalo skin, local tea and saltpeter among the chickens, vegetables and hill-tribe weavings. Laos
is also known for its traditional crafts. We back to hotel for breakfast and then continue to visit
the National Museum at the former Royal Palace, which displays a lovely collection of the
artefacts reflecting the richness of Lao culture dating from the days of the early kings right
through to the last sovereign. During our time here, we visit the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun
and the shrine of Wat Aham and today you will visit local villages of Lao ethnic minority groups

Today, we enjoy a short-guided tour seeing the city’s oldest temple of Wat Sene and the
magnificent Wat Xiengthong with its roofs sweeping low to the ground, which represents
classical Laotian architecture. We then embark on a cruise upstream on the Mekong River, which
also gives us a breathtaking view of the tranquil countryside as well as explore the mysterious
Pak Ou Caves, two linked caves crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of
various shapes and sizes left by pilgrims. Along the way, we stop at the village of Ban Xanghai,
where they make the local rice wine. After returning to Luang Prabang by late afternoon, we
continue to Ban Xangkhong, a village well known for its silk weavings and for its Saa (jute)
Papermaking. After that, we climb up to the top of mount Phousi for an enjoyable exploration of
the sacred, gilded stupa as well as a panoramic view of the city at sunset and the Mekong River.
From there, we explore the Night Market, where you can find a lovely selection of handmade
textile made by local and hill tribe people surrounding Luang Prabang.

countryside located at the outskirt of Hanoi. The approximate travel time is one hour and 30
minutes.
Then arriving at Mr. Duoc’s house, you will be welcomed with fresh honey tea and green lentils or
lotus seeds that made by his family. Imagine a Vietnam in the old time of war through stories of
Mr. Duoc, who is not only a veteran who lives during those hard times but also a green tea expert.
You will visit his tea plantation which is one of the largest in Ri village and join with locals in
green tea processing. Afterward, have a Vietnamese cooking demonstration with another local
host and then enjoy a home-cooked lunch in a lovely garden.
After that, you will wander around the village and mingling with local people. You will visit the
local craftsman who has been skilled at making conical hats from a very young age and other
workshops in the village to see how people there make tofu or shell the rice. As you meander

known as “Ha Long Bay on land” and is located 80 km South of Hanoi
AM: 8:00 - 8:30. Our guide & driver will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter, then leave
by coach to Hoa Lu (2.5 hrs). Visit the historic capital of Vietnam and the famous ancient temples
of Le and the Dinh Dynasties. Then our bus will transfer you from Hoa Lu to Tam Coc for lunch
around at 12:30PM.
PM: After lunch, boat trip to visit Tam Coc to see the beauty of the karst formations as you pass

DAY 12: HO CHI MINH CITY – MEKONG DELTA (B/L/D)
Arrive in a charming village, hidden under hundreds of coconut palm trees. Welcome at Mekong
Home, charming familial house composed of several bungalows, set in a tropical garden and on
the Mekong river bank. Fresh coconut juice will be served, then check in your room. Take rest for
a while then depart with a member of the family for an introduction to the local fishing. Return to
the restaurant at the end of the afternoon and participate in a cooking class: “Bánh xèo” –
Vietnamese pancake made from rice milk. Dinner are ready to serve with fresh dishes include
local vegetable, ingredients and flavors cooked in local style such as: caramelized pork, fish soup,

DAY 13: MEKONG DELTA TO HO CHI MINH CITY (B/L)
Enjoy fresh air while breakfast is served.
After that, start cycling trip (from 2 hours to 2.5 hours) to the island of Oc on a concrete track,
lined with fruit trees and coconut trees. On the way, pass by the local market where various of
local ingredients as vegetable, meat, fruits,.. are sold. Subject to availability, visit a workshop of
baskets made of coconut stems and a coconut processing operation. You will have chance to
interact with workshop owner on different braiding techniques. Then return to the bicycles
andcross a local Mekong River ferry to reach the island. From there, cycling on small paths dotted
with small huts hidden in lush vegetation while seeing the daily life of the inhabitants of Mekong
Delta, governed by artisanal and agriculture activities. Stop at a fish farm, to know more about
two species of catfish: ca tra (Pangasius hypophthalmus) and ca ba sa (Pangasius bocourti),
raised in ponds. These catfish are the two main species of fish production in Vietnam. Continue
biking and back to Mekong Home. Check out at around 12:00 p.m. End of the tour.

DAY 14: HO CHI MINH CITY - CU CHI TUNNELS (B/L)
Today you will be picked up by an experienced English-speaking guide to Cu Chi Tunnels, located
in the countryside near Ho Chi Minh City. Approximate travel time is one hour and 30 minutes.
The residents of Cu Chi took the war underground into a highly developed network of tunnels
that at its height stretched as far as Cambodia and included meeting rooms, kitchens and triage
areas. Imperceptible from the ground, opposing armies could roll their tanks over the bunkers
without causing damage to the tunnels below. Living conditions were harsh – in addition to
fighting the war, resident’s battled food and oxygen scarcity, venomous insects, and cramped
living quarters. Gain important insight into the prolonged struggle against invading armies, and
appreciation for the resilience and spirit of the Vietnamese people. After that, travelers can try

the delicious manioc which was the main food for guerilla-warriors in Cu Chi during the war.
Visitors can try to fire off an AK47 or MK16 or machine guns at the nearby shooting range.

DAY 15: HO CHI MINH CITY – TRANSFER TO PHNOM PENH BY BUS (B)
After breakfast, transfer by bus from Ho chi Minh city to Phnom Penh. On arrival, hotel check in.
Visit Royal Palace is a royal residence now where His Majesty, the King of Cambodia, and the
royal families live. It is like a small town of royal dynasties. Continue to Silver Pagoda, serves less
as a functioning temple than a repository for cultural treasures such as 90 kg golden Buddha
encrusted with 2086 diamonds. Finally visit Wat Phnom Temple is one of the most important
pagodas in Phnom Penh. Built in 1373 on an artificial hill by the wealthy widow Daun Chi Penh.

DAY 16: PHNOM PENH (B)
Breakfast at hotel. Visit Tuol Sleng Museum (also known as S-21 prison). This former school was
used as a prison by Pol Pot’s security forces. More than 17,000 people held at S-21 were taken to
the extermination camp at Choeng Ek to be executed. Then drive to visit the “Killing Fields” of
Choeng Ek (15 km south of Phnom Penh). Between 1975 and 1978 about 17,000 men, women,
children and infants (including nine westerners) were detained and tortured at the S-21 prison
and transported to extermination camp of Choeng Ek. Visit Russian Market (Toul Tumpong
Market), the Market has gained reputation for cheap clothing, a large selection of Buddha images
and woodcarvings, betel-nut boxes, silk, silver jewelry, and classic music instrument. Enjoy
Sunset Cruise on the Tonle Sap and Mekong Rivers in Phnom Penh, it bursts into 4 branches.

DAY 17: PHNOM PENH – TRANSFER TO SIEM REAP BY BUS (B)
Breakfast at the hotel and then to Siem Reap by bus. Upon arrival, pick up and transfer to the
hotel check in. Afternoon visit to Wat Thmey or Killing Field, contains a unique glass-walled stupa
containing the bones of victims of the Khmer Rouge. After that, visit to Wat Memorial Mountaint.

DAY 18: SIEM REAP FULL DAY (B/L)
Breakfast at hotel. Visit Angkor Thom, the South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon Temple, built from
the late 12th century to the early 13th century by King Jayavarman VII and consists of 54 towers,
the Royal Enclosure, the Phimeanakas, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King,
then visit Ta Prohm, surrounded by jungle. Visit Angkor Wat, the largest temples in world and
covers an area of 200 hectares and surrounded by moat and an exterior wall measuring 1300
meters x 1500 meters. Early this evening, we will take the Tuk Tuk (the most common taxi in
