OCHA ROAP deploys specialised humanitarian personnel to support efforts on the ground in response to a new or escalating humanitarian crises. Since 2004, ROAP deployed on 90 occasions to provide rapid and temporary reinforcement and ensure coordination takes place effectively and efficiently.
