•Optimum Model SelectionTwo models are availabe to withstand different overloads. The allowable overload capacity is 150%for the IHF model and 120% for the IPF model. Select the IHF model for quick acceleration ordeceleration and the IPF model for greater motor output.

•Sensorless Vector ControlIn addition to V/f control, the SAMCO-i general purpose inverter supports sensor-less control toenhance speed control and load responsiveness. Even when the inverter is used with a non-standard motor, the auto tuning function automatically measures the motor constants necessary forSensorless Vector Control and controls the speed accordingly.

•Energy-Saving ControlThe SAMCO-i general purpose inverter operates in three energy-saving modes. Selecting theoptimum mode greatly reduces energy consumption.

•High-Grade Flying Start Function(with a Revolution Direction Detection Function)The conventional inverter sometimes tripped the motor due to an overcurrent in a sudden free-runstart. However, the SAMCO-i general purpose inverter provides a smooth start by detecting therevolution speed and direction of the motor. For example, the general purpose inverter can stop themotor of a fan without shock for a smooth flying start in a specified direction even when a headwindis turning the motor in the reverse direction.

•PID FunctionThe standard PID function simplifies system design.

•Momentary Voltage Drop Compensation FunctionIn case of a momentary voltage drop or power failure, the momentary voltage drop compensationfunction allows a motor to run continuously with minimum tripping by using the inertia of the motoror load.

•Good Acceleration/Deceleration CharacteristicsThe DSAMCO-i general purpose inverter provides smooth and powerful acceleration anddeceleration.

•Wide Lineup of Optional BoardsThe optional water supply, PG support, and serial communication boards can be used to upgradethe performance and functions of the SAMCO-i general purpose inverter.
