In class, discuss these statements and find an example of each.

Go to 4.1 (p39) and write down the six areas that you should focus on in your work experience.

Make sure to include evidence of this in your Work Experience Diary.

How to present your Work Placement Diary

• The Diary may be presented using a variety of media.

• Typed, oral, graphic, audio, visual or any combination of these.

• Any audio or video evidence must be provided on CD, DVD, USB or Tape.

• Take as many photographs as possible (with permission).

• Go to 4.2 (p40-51) and complete your personal reflection diary daily while on your work placement. You should focus in particular on:

• Your thoughts and feelings about the day.

• Plans for the next day, especially what you can do differently to improve your work experience.

How to write a thank you letter

Thank You Letter Go to 4.3 (p52). Use the template to create your own Thank You

Letter. Type it up and post it to your Work Experience Supervisor.

Supervisor’s Report - Reflection • Look over your Supervisor’s Report. Then go to 4.4 (p53).

• Do you agree with how you were rated?

• Expand your thoughts on your performance.

Go to 4.5 (p54).

Outline some challenges that you overcame.

Evaluate how you dealt with:

4. Learning in relation to Quality Management Systems e.g.
