Making DREAMS Happen August 1-7, 2012 – Bali Indonesia
Four hundred (400) Student Leaders from some of the worldʼs Leading Universities will attend the 3rd University Scholars Leadership Symposium in Bali, Indonesia.
With the theme of “Making DREAMS Happen,” Humanitarian Affairs United Kingdom once again hosts this annual event this coming August 1-7, 2012 to bring together a global community of youths who want to become the change they want to see in the world.
It aims to educate future leaders on global poverty and humanitarian issues affecting the globe today. It provides reflective dialogue and personal experiences from leading humanitarians, all the while promoting international sustainable development for effective humanitarian leadership.

Humanitarian Affairs, United Kingdom is a Social Enterprise incorporated under the Company Act 1985 and registered with the Registrar of Companies in England and Wales.
The Asia Secretariat based in Thailand, and known as Humanitarian Affairs Asia, administers the annual University Scholars Leadership Symposium and other programmes held in the Asia Pacific region.
Humanitarian Affairs is a member of the World Association of Non-Governmental Organizations and the World Alliance for Citizens Participation.
Knowledge Whiz
Delegates will have the opportunity to acquire practical experience and put into practice what they will learn.
They will be able to experience first-hand involvement of executing humanitarian service work.
In addition, they will have the chance to develop your talents and leadership skills and discover their inner strengths and energy.
Sharing Session
There will be focused group sharing sessions to enable delegates to work and share with team members on small group basis.
You will learn to inspire others and be inspired yourself by your teammates.
The sharing session will inculcate team spirit and enable you to develop your communication and networking skills as well as create bonding and fellowship among delegates.
Show Buzz
You will have opportunities to play important roles in creating a “Public Awareness Campaign” to help the less fortunate.
You will have opportunities to transform lives and be the Caring Ambassador and Voice of the Voiceless Poor.
You can develop invaluable skills and also stand to awe all participants with your creativity and dedication and win fantastic awards at the same time.
Learning Journey Delegates will spend one full day experiencing the joy of bringing laughter and excitement to the disadvantaged children living in various welfare homes around Bali.
The Learning Journey allows our delegates to have the opportunity to interact with the less fortunate and understand the problems facing them.
Humanitarian Affairs welcomes anyone aged between 18 to 30 years old. Any undergraduate, post graduate or young professional who wishes to learn about humanitarian initiatives is encouraged to join the Symposium.
