3rd Annual Joint NIH/NCATS and FISH Summer Internship Program 2017 May 30 – August 18, 2017 This flier is intended for internal circula2on at invited ins2tu2ons. Please do not post openly on the internet. • A limited number of experienced research students will be selected to pursue the 3rd annual joint internship with the Na9onal Ins9tute for Health (NIH) / Na9onal Center for Advancing Transla9onal Science (NCATS) and the Franciscan Ins9tute for Science and Health (FISH) in Rockville, MD for the summer of 2017. Students will conduct research full-9me for 12 weeks with NIH/NCATS scien9sts on a variety of projects that span the sciences, math and engineering disciplines. Housing is arranged in Rockville, MD. This is the program to which you will apply for summer funding which is predicted, based upon last year, to be in the range of $2,100-2,310/month for the 3 months of the program. (note, you may have to copy and paste this link into your internet browser): h8ps://www.training.nih.gov/programs/sip • IMPORTANT NOTES FOR APPLICANTS: Prospec9ve candidates must apply online both at the NIH SIP site and at the Franciscan site. The online applica9ons will be open from December 20 to March 1.
