GATEWAY GOLF BENEFITFOR SPECIAL OLYMPICS MISSOURI

Dear Friend:

We are excited to announce the third annual Gateway Golf Benefit for Special Olympics Missouri (formerly Shop ’n Save Golf Benefit for Special Olympics) will take place on August 4th and 5th at Norwood Hills Country Club. Special Olympics Missouri not only gives children and adults with intellectual disabilities the opportunity to participate in our year-round program of sports training and athletic competitions at no cost, it provides the chance to form friendships, improve skills and grow as individuals. The joy that each athlete has is contagious; our goal is for everyone to experience the joy they bring and to share it with others. Last year’s event was such a huge success, raising over $300,000 for Special Olympics Missouri athletes. By supporting this event, you are making a difference in the lives of the 7,972 athletes in the St. Louis Metro Area.

Event Highlights:Sunday, August 4 th

At 4:30 p.m., doors open to the cocktail reception and silent auction Buffet style dinner Oral auction hosted by a local celebrity

Monday, August 5 th - Gateway Golf Tournament Morning Golfers

Registration at 6:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 7:15 a.m. Breakfast items/drinks Lunch and morning silent auction

Afternoon Golfers Registration at 11:00 a.m. with a shotgun start at 1:00 p.m. Lunch is open to golfers before they begin Post- tournament cocktail hour with appetizers and afternoon silent auction

Each Gateway Golf and Gala sponsorship also includes four tickets to the Gateway Golf Gala event. If you are in need of additional tickets, please indicate that on your registration form.
