Introduction:
Objectives:
The purpose of the drive test to perform the RF design verification, identify any coverage and quality problems to optimise WCDMA network performance.
At this stage, the main focus is on fundamental end-to-end service accessibility target (e.g. Calls set up and drop rates) and on performance targets such as coverage related targets (such as CPICH RSCP and CPICH Ec/No), and HSDPA/HSUPA speed performance.
For this case it was needed each other from drive test data collection and also Physical site changes like tilting, antenna orientation and antenna height.

Drive Test Tools:
Hardware:• 1x Laptop• 2x/3x/4x Smart Phones (2G/3G/LTE)• 1x FDD Data Dongle (should be supporting 3G 42M)• 1x GPS (G-Star IV)• 1x Car DC/AC Inverter• 1x Car.• 3x SIM Cards (Data & Normal) & 4x SIM Cards (Data & Normal) 5x SIM Cards (Data & Normal)Software:• TEMS Investigation 16.1• Map Tools (Map Info & Google Earth)• Cell File

Drive Test Type
Site Verification Individual cell verification test : To investigate detail of site performance by checking all single sectors with AMR call and Throughput test. In addition also required to perform small area dedicated test for Intra/Intercell HO.
Cluster Optimization Normal Drive To frame the potential area of the new site planned. Also to improve the important neighboring sites for which the handover to be defined. Cluster Optimization Dedicated Drive
Performed call to the test number and drive to the potential area given to determine
i) call set up time ii) call set up success iii) drop call iv) SHO
v) HSDPA ( Average & Maximum) Speedvi) Coverage Status ( Technology)vii) Pilot polution

When the site is completely integrated, Drive tester team will start to perform site
investigation. The detail sub-activities are outlined below:
1. Rigging Audit2. Site Verification3. Site corrective action (cross feeder, inconsistent data, functionality
problem, etc.)4. Acceptance Test
The site has been built and integrated as planned and that the planned coverage has been achieved

• Voice / Video calls
• Verify on per cell basis for all carriers:• RSCP• EC/No• Scrambling Code• LAC / RAC• Cell ID• Etc.
• Data / Throughput test• HSDPA and HSUPA /
Internet Browsing• Verify on per cell basis for all
carriers:• RSCP• EC/No• Scrambling Code• LAC / RAC• Cell ID• Max/Ave Speed• Etc.

Static test At the best radio location required to perform for all carriers 1. Voice call to determine if any call failure or block calls 2. Video call succesful 3. IRAT test for network reselection 4. Throughput R99/ HSDPA/HSUPA/Latency test using http / fttp and speedtest. 5. Internet browsing succesful
Mobility Test 1. Check intra cell HO in dedicated mode clockwise and anti clockwise 2 rounds for each direction 2. Check inter cell HO in dedicated mode for the 1st layer per cell both ways.

Rigging Audit
Test Items in Rigging Audit:Antenna Installation Verification
- Azimuth- Height- Location- Cross-feeder/s
Rigging Tools :- Safety Belt- Compass- GPS
- Measurement tape- Digital Inclinometer
Site Audit required from the Rigger
1. Panoramic photos surrounding sites including antenna sectors/objective area
2. Ensure no blocking sectors from the main beam antenna3. Antenna mechanical/electrical tilt was in correct value4. Antenna was in correct orientation for the objective/target area5. Site Height6. Site Coordinates

• Cluster Definition, Site Information Data and Site Location Map• With Site/Cell ID, Site name, Primary SC, Neighbour list, RNC ID
and Cluster border highlighted• Prepare Route Map for Drive Testing• Perform drive test either Idle mode or Dedicated mode• Identify Problematic Areas• The result from the data will showing of Network performance such
as 1. Drop call rate 2. Accessibility – mobile originated/terminated call set up success rate 3. Coverage – RSCP and Ec/No

• The area which doesn't meet the criteria below is defined as "Problematic Area“
• Coverage Problem Area
• Dominance Problem Area
• Pilot Pollution
Best Server’s CPICH RSCP < - 99 dBm
