DESCRIPTION

Talk from the 3D printing event: http://openwebcast.nl/?p=1084 Video: http://stream.citytv.nl/~citytv/media/design/3dpr251011part1.mov Both user-friendly CAD software such as SketchUp! and TinkerCAD and affordable 3D printers make it increasingly accessible to adopt 3D technologies. Through this increased accessibility, Ultimaker and other 3D printing players have started to shift from professional users to amateurs who innovate for fun. The use of open source and a continuous sharing through the platform will help to create more consumer value and helps drives widespread adoption of the technology.
