This project is not only a showcase of Decor Systems extensive range of products, but also demonstrates why we are the thought leaders and systems developers in the industry we have dominated for nearly 50 years.

At the early stages of this project, we were nominated by EIW Architects to supply a range of DecorZen, DecorStyle and Decor Milano solid, perforated and lineal grooved acoustic panels, all requiring different sizing and installation methods.

The outcome is stunning! Acoustically and visually, this project is a potential award-winner. This truly is a project where the pictures tell a thousand words!

Full credit to EIW Architects for their innovative approach. It was great to work with their team and work collaboratively to develop their creativity and passion into a living and vibrant space. Together, we made WOW!

CORPUS CHRISTI COLLEGE THEATREDecorMilano, DecorStyle, DecorZen


The new Corruption & Crime fit-out, designed by SPH architecture + interiors and built by Shape Group was officially opened by Attor-ney General – Hon John Quigley MLA LLB, JP, and Corruption and Crime Commissioner – John Roderick McKechnie, QC on Wed 14th March 2018. SPH architecture + interiors pushed the boundaries and capabilities of DecorSlatMax to create the unique showpiece of angled slatted beams throughout the space.

Concept: A sculpted interior terrain with manifestations of geo-metric contouring that wrap, envelope, direct and lead. Intuitive wayfinding is further explored through visual prompts that draw focus towards significant points of distinction.

Client brief and cultural aspirations: The CCC’s main objective for their relocation to a single 3500sqm floorplate at William Square was to break down the silos that had developed between their directorates resulting from years of separation across 6 cellular floors.

CORRUPTION AND CRIME COMMISSIONDecorSlat Max, DecorStyle, DecorZen


The new St James Chapel is central on the Castle Hill Anglicare site, adjacent the heritage listed Lober House and at the heart of the community precinct.

The project involves a chapel and hall that combine for large gatherings via large, operable walls in the connecting corridor. The project scope also includes upper and lower entry foyers, an extensive forecourt, back of house areas, 21 basement carpark spaces, connection into existing underground parking and a 32.64 m steeple.

Decor Systems worked closely with the acoustic consultants, the construction contractor and sub-contractor to deliver these stunning DecorZen and DecorStyle bespoke solid and perforated acoustic timber panels to both the walls and ceilings of this exciting project.

Each panel is unique. Note the careful attention to the continuity of the perforation borders, the irregular panel sizes and the quality of the DecorThane finish. This project is a potential award-winner!

Designed by Hassell the stunning new St Ives Carine retirement village is another demonstration of their ability. We were awestruck by the unique and contemporary architecture, impressive facilities and luxury amenities for residents. Taking the limelight of these facilities is the fabulous indoor pool.

DecorZen Acoustic Ceiling panels were chosen for this project to be moisture resistant. The 99 year guarantee behind our panels was central to Decor Systems being the preferred supplier.

The use of the rake in the ceiling creates a stunning effect and plays with the light and water to mesmerise the residents. ST IVES CARINE, WADecorZen


There is nothing more original than having an acoustic wall created from your own unique design. And that is exactly what has been recently installed at Perth Airport T1 Terminal, made from Decor Systems DecorArti Panels

The bespoke sculptures and perforated wall called “From the skies” were designed by Penelope Forlano at Forlano Design, with art-work text by Doolann Leisha Eatts, a Whukjuk/Piblenman/Nyungah woman elder.

The slatted timber system also works with the lobby columns and lights, and its acoustic performance was also high on the approval list for the architects.

Decor Systems was really involved with the Linq Apartment project right at the beginning. The architect conveyed her design intent to Decor Systems and showed us her drawing. We took it upon ourselves to write the specification for the ceiling, custom made the ceiling panels to ensure there would be now nasty surprises on site.

It is always the interesting part of job in working on something different and working closely with architects to turn their design vision to reality. The result - an eye catching raked ceiling that offer a different type of style.

LINQ APARTMENTSDecorSlat


Curtin University’s new Medical & Teaching Facility incorporates a mix of formal and informal learning areas highlighted by state-of-the-art audio visual, communications, IT and security services, encased in a unique curved precast concrete façade.

One of the most innovative and striking features of the interior is the substantial amount of timber finish used to line the main entry, stretching the full height of the atrium. Timber fractal lining, 3D wall paneling was used with numerous peaks, returns and troughs as opposed to a traditional flat wall paneling.

Multiple types of acoustic panels were used including perforated DecorZen, slatted timber as well as seamless perforated plaster-board.

The entire project has you saying WOW and we are proud to have contributed to this. Congratulations to all involved.
