365 Daily Journal Prompts for Kids Simple list-based journal prompts for a whole year
Each day prompts for a list of three things. The first prompt of each month
is “3 things you’re thankful for” and at the end of each month is a prompt for
“3 favorite things about this month.”
Some days are meant to provide nostalgia and record memories (3 jobs you
might like to have when you grow up). Other days are meant to be thought-
provoking and help your child increase self-awareness (3 things that make you
feel confident). Some prompts will encourage them to think about important
life skills (3 questions to ask when you first meet someone). And some are just
for fun (3 places to hide an elephant)!
The following pages are set up as labels that can be printed on Avery 8160
address labels. The first set is labeled with a date (e.g. January 1) and the
journal prompt. A second set is included with only the journal prompts if you
prefer to choose your own order of use.
After printing, it is easy to peel and stick the labels into a notebook or journal.
A wide-ruled school notebook works great for this project.
