PLEASEREMOVEORBYPASSCHECKVALVEBEFOREFLUSHING!SECURERED&BLUEHOSETOVEHICLEFRAMEBEFOREFLUSHING
Theprincipletoflushingoilcoolersistobackflushthem.Theillustrationaboveshowshowthisprocess is achieved. The blue hose (pressure line) is hooked to the return line of the cooler. The red hose (return) is hooked to the input of the cooler line.
SelectatimersettingandtheHotFlushmachinewillbackflushyourcoolerusingitspatentedreverseflushtechnology.Thisactionreversesflowfromthebluelinetotheredlineevery3secondsfora1/4secondtojogcontaminationloose.Ashortburstofairisalsoinjectedevery3minto help insure your cooler gets clean.
Whenyour28micronscreenorthe10micronprefilterisclean,selecttheonewaymodetocheckcoolerflow.Inthismodethehotflushmachineswitchestheflowoutputfromthebluelinetotheredandsimulatesnormalcoolerflowasifthecoolerwerehookeduptothetransmission.

5. Replace inner lid cover inside reservoir tank.6. Replace top cover.7. Attach hoses to machine, red hose to the turret
with the red dot, blue hose to the other left turret. (Seefigure2)
8. Note: if there is a check ball in the cooler line, it must be bypassed — attach blue hose (this is the primary output line) to the return line from thecooler.(Seepages14,15&16forreturnlinelocation) important: if there is a check ball in the coolerline,itmustbebypassed!!!
9. Attach the red hose to the other line.10. Hookingupshopairsupply:attachmalefittingthat
matchesyourquickcouplerairhoseto1/4”coupleronrightsideofmachine,(seefigure3)thenattachair hose. Always: use an air supply of a minimum of110PSIandamaxof120PSItooperatethemachine. (Note: pressure guage reads oil pressure leaving machine, which will be less then air supply pressure) note: machine must have air supplied to itatalltimeswhileinuse!
11. Makesuremainpowerswitch(#1)(seefigure1)isin the off position.
12. Plugpowercorddirectlyinto110volt(20amp)groundedoutlet.Donotuseanextentioncord!
13. RemoveT-nuton28micronscreenhousing(seefigure4)andremovethecap.
14.Make sure 28 micron screen is clean by looking at it against a background of light and tilting back and forth, when you can see light through the screen, it is clean. The dark areas are the accumulation of minute particles. To clean, agitate back and forth

inasolutionofdishsoap&water.Thenblowoutthe 28 micron screen with an air nozzle till dry from the back side. (The back side is the side that does not have numbers on the center rubber gasket) Replace the 28 micron screen in housing so that the numbers on the center rubber gasket are facing up.ReplacethecapandtightenT-nut,sooildoesnotleakfromhousingwhilerunning!
15.Replace cover and close lid.16.Optional:topre-heattheoil,connecttheends
ofthetwo8’hosestothepre-heatattachment.(Seefigure5)turnselectorknob(#5)toonewayposition, turn the pump switch on and run the machine till it reaches preset temperature. Turn pumpswitchoff.Press&holdcleanoutswitch(#3)(figure1)for5to10seconds.Disconnecthosefromthepre-heatattachmentandcontinue.
17.Selecttheproperfittingforthevehicleandconnectthe blue hose to the return line from the cooler and the red hose to the input line of the cooler. Attention: make sure lines are secured to vehicle and separate from each other, as there is a violent joltingactionthatoccursduringtheflushingaction.
18. Select15minutetimeroperation.(Switch#5)(seefigure1)
19. Turnpumpon&makenoteofflowrateontheflowmeter(#11)(seefigure1)soyoucanmonitorprogressofflowrate.Stopflushingafter15minutesbecausescreenmayfillupquickly!
20. Note the following statements, then continue with step 23 under normal operating conditions.
21. Attention: pump may shut off if screen becomes filledwithexcessivedebris.Thoughthisisdesigned to protect the screen, it should not be relieduponasanautoshutoff.Ifscreenbecomesdamaged, it must be replaced. To order more call 1-800-852-5713.
22. Note:ifpumpdoesshutoffbecauseofexcessive
debris,turnoffmainpowerswitch(#1),“tap”thecleanoutbutton(#3)(figure1)6timestopurgeoilfromfilterhousing.Donotholddown,continuewithstep#24
23. Press&holdcleanoutswitch(#3)(figure1)forabout5to10seconds.
24.RemoveT-nutfrom28micronscreenhousingand remove cap.
25.Remove 28 micron screen.26.Examinescreenfordebris,ifdebrisispresent,
cleanperinstructionsinstep14.Replace&continuetoflush.
27.Inspectandcleanthescreenevery15to30minutes,youmustbeabletoflushforatleast15minutesandhavethescreenremaincleaninordertobeassuredthatthecoolerisclean!
28. Also, remember to replace the secondary tank filterinyourHotFlushafter30flushesor20hours.ThisreservoirfilterisatopqualityOEMspecfilterthatcleanstheoilto10microns,reducingweartothereversingvalve&pump.The oil remains cleaner and lasts twice as long. Toordermorecall1-800-852-5713.

• Locate drain hose and open the valve at the end.
• Drain oil into your waste oil container.
• Turn on the pump switch while holding the drain hose in the waste oil container.
• Whenfluidstops,turnoffthepumpswitchandclosethevalveonthedrainhose.
• Refillwith16quartsofATF.
ANTI-THEFT FEATURE
YourHotFlushmachineisequippedwithaspecialanti-theftfeature.Ataspecificinterval,theHotFlushwillgointoashutdownmode&the green light on the control panel will stay lit.Youmustthencall(800)852-5713toverifyyourshopinformation&serial#.Youwillthenreceive a special code to enter for your spe-cificserial#.EachtimetheHotFlushgoesintoshutdown mode you will receive a new code.

Screw bowl onto housing and begin
flushing. Install flush plug and new
