ORGANIZATION:

XXVIII Open International Ciudad de Zamora will be organized by Club de Aeromodelismo Zamora and Federación Aeronáutica Castilla y León, with the consent of the Real Federación Aeronáutica Española

PLACE OF THE EVENT:

The International Open Ciudad de Zamora will have place in the facilities of the Club de Aeromodelismo Zamora, in the village of Coreses finca la Fadona, 7 Km. away from Zamora city.

DATES:

The International Open will have place, from Friday 31st May, on Saturday 1st June and on Sunday 2nd June 2019.

Thursday 30th May:

From 16:00 hours, facilities will be open for free training. Pilots can communicate the Club if they arrive earlier than that and they want to have access granted to the facilities.

Friday 31st May:

From 14:00 hours to 14:15 hours, pilots’ numbers and flying order will be handed to the contestants. From 15:30 hours to 20:00 hours: Round 1 in official flights.

Saturday 1st June:

From 08:00 hours to 12:10 hours: Round 2 in official flights. From 12:30 hours to 14:24 hours: Round 3 in official flights. 14:32 Lunch. From 15:00 hours to 16:52 hours: Round 3 continuation. From 17:00 hours to 21:00 hours: Round 4 official flights.

Domingo Día 2 de junio:

From 8:00 hours to 10:02 hours: Round 1 final flight of Fs. From 10:30 hours to 12:32 hours: Round 2 final flight of Fs 13:30 hours: Delivery of trophies and closing ceremony. 13:45 hours: Lunch.

CONTESTANTS:

There is a maximum limit of 30 pilots taking into account their inscription order (5 pilots will be set as reserve in case some of the first 30 entrants will drop off).

• It will be done sending the entry form by e-mail to info@claz.es. • On the official web page www.claz.es, you can also download the entry form. • Entry form and entry fees payment have to done no later than 13 May. • Payment is to be done to IBAN ES18 3085 0011 19 1096615628 • Payment fee is 50€ for contestants and 25€ for each accompanying person. This fee covers lunch on Saturday and Sunday.

Accomodation and travelling expenses will be on the side of the contestant.

PROTESTS:

All protests have to be done in writing with an accompanying deposit of 50 €. This deposit will be paid back in case the protest is upheld. Pilots can write a protest to the contest director on their flight on the following 30 minutes after this has taken place and before the beginning of the following round. Pilots can also protest in writing on issues related to the competition, during the 30 minutes following the publication of results. Protest will be on problems with the application of the Sporting Code. References will be to the English FAI versión of the Sporting Code. No translated versions will be admitted.

Protests on the Judging Criteria will not be admitted.

GENERAL RULES: Organizers and modify timetables, programmes and the announced order of the Championship and they will announce it to all contestants as soon as possible.
