Condition of Any swimmer entered in the meet, unaccompanied by a USA Swimming member Sanction: coach, must be certified by a USA Swimming member coach as being proficientin performing a racing start or must start each race from within the water. It is theresponsibility of the swimmer or the swimmer’s legal guardian to ensure compliance withthis requirement. The competition course has been certified in accordance with104.2.2C(4). The copy of such certification is on file with USA Swimming.Changing into or out of swimsuits other than in locker rooms or other designated areas is notappropriate and is strongly discouraged.

Age Group and Senior Open MeetDates & Times: Saturday, April 13, 2013 – 13-14 & Senior timed finals start at 8:00 am. 11-12 & Under timed
finals start not more than 45 minutes after the conclusion of the morning session. Sunday,
April 14, 2013 – 13-14 & Senior timed finals start at 8:00 am. 11-12 & Under timed finals

Pool Specs: One certified outdoor 50 meter pool, non-turbulent lane lines, seven lanes, and separatewarm-up, cool down area. Water depth at the competition starting end of the pool is aminimum of 5 feet, 0 inches and the turn end is a minimum of 4 feet, 0 inches.
Timing: Colorado Time Systems – automatic with touch pads and backup buttons.
Warm-Up: Saturday – 13-14 & Seniors 7:00 am, 11-12 & Under not before 10:30 amSunday – 13-14 & Seniors 7:00 am, 11-12 & Under not before 10:30 am
Eligibility: Open to all USA Swimming registered swimmers. On deck registration will beallowed. The 2012 USA-S form, fee, etc. must be presented to the Referee.
Seeding: 50 Meter times will be used for seeding.Conversions may be made using the formula in the current Florida Swimming Handbook.
Scratches: No penalty for scratching at the blocks.Entry Limit: Entries will close upon receipt of the team that puts entries over the four hour time
limit per session. Swimmers are limited to four (4) individual events per day.We reserve the right to combine sessions if the morning and afternoon time lines are
short enough to allow.
Deck Entries: Deck entries will be allowed only if the four hour rule has not been met. The fee for deck entries will be $5.00 per individual event plus $7.50 facility fee and must be paid at the timeof the deck entry. Proof of USA Swimming registration must be met. Swimmers previouslyentered in other events may not scratch one of those events to deck enter into another event.Deck entries have to comply with the max. per session/day limit. Deck entries will only beaccepted prior to the start of each session.

Entry Form: Entries must be submitted in the SDIF or CL2 (Hytek) format by e-mail or disk,
and followed up by a backup hard copy of the entries as well as the master entry
form with applicable fees. Errors in entries submitted electronically are the
responsibility of the applicant. A completed Master Entry Form must be completed andsigned by the member of USA Swimming completing the form for ALL entries.
Entry Fees: Individual Events: $3.00/event – timed finals
Relays: $5.00 per relay
Facility Fee: $7.50 per swimmer
Non-Hy-Tek Entry Surcharge $50.00 per t eam

Rules: Current USA Swimming rules will govern the meet. Fly-over starts will be used.Team Rep: Prior to the start of the meet, the name of one person other than the coach who will check
with the referee about any matter pertaining to the meet must be given to the referee.Only that person and the coach will be recognized.
Proof of Coach: Coaches must hold current USA Swimming Coaches Certification and shall wear USASwimming registration cards in a conspicuous location at all times while on deck duringthe meet.
Supervision: All swimmers must be supervised by a USA Swimming Certified Coach. Any swimmersattending the meet without a certified coach must take responsibility for finding acertified coach who will be responsible for them during all warm-ups and sessions of themeet. That agreement must be submitted in writing to the referee before the swimmer is

about 1.5 miles to City Center Parkway. Turn left onto City Center Parkway. YMCA is just ahead on the right.
Camera Zones: Per Florida Swimming Rule 223.12, Meet Management shall designate and inform the public of “Camera Zones” at each swim meet where both still photography and video photography of a race or a race competitor in a race may be taken. Acceptable “Camera
Zones” may include, but are not limited to the side courses of a pool, team gatheringareas, concession areas, turn-end of competition course when not in use as a “start-end”,etc. Meet Management shall also designate “Non-Camera Zones.” Under NOcircumstances will Camera Zones include the area immediately behind the starting blocksat either end of the racing course(s) while they are in use for “race starting purposes”during competition and warm-ups, locker rooms, restrooms, or any other dressing area.Any individual failing to abide by this rule could be subject to the Florida SwimmingCode of Conduct violation as defined in Rule 239.2.
