4-H Club of the Month
NDSU Extension—Williams County 4-H
Prairie Partners 4-H club started the year meeting in the West Prairie Church west of Williston. After a couple months we had outgrown the church and moved our meetings to the Ernie French Center. Our club consists of 47 enrolled youth members, of which 20 are cloverbuds, and 7 adult volunteers. We meet on the second Sunday of the month at 2:00PM. This year we held a bake sale where we sold lefse, cookies and other good-ies made by our members and raised $700 for the Fill a Forgotten Stocking Program at American State Bank. We held a food drive for the food pantry at the Salvation Army and also rang bells during their Red Kettle campaign. We had several of our members com- pete this year on the Williams County Livestock Judging team that placed 4th High Junior Team at Bowman and 12th High Junior Team at State.
