Owls Update
There be no OWLs luncheon in the month of December due to the Christmas holi-day. The OWLs will resume meeting in Janu-ary 2017. If you have any questions, just call Marcia Compton (362-9642) or Margie Zimmerman(362-6836).

Notables
The Church Office will be closed Monday, Dec. 26th for the Christmas holiday.
There will be no Sunday School on Christmas Day (Sunday, Dec. 25th) and New Year’s Day (Sunday, Jan. 1st).
Christ Lutheran has been assigned two days to “Ring the Bell” for the Salvation Army: Monday, November 28th and Friday, December 2nd. This year we will ring at Coun-ty Market. Sign-up sheets are posted on the bulletin board in the narthex.
Kerstin Wilson’s name was errantly omitted from the No-vember newsletter “Birthday Listing”. Apologies to the Wilson family, we’ll get it next year!
In case of bad weather...tune in to TV - Channel 13 or Ra-dio - WIMC 103.9 FM, WCDQ 106.3 FM, or WCVL 1550 AM to determine if our regularly scheduled events will take place.
Quilting
The 2016 quilt total was 203!! Thank you to EVERYONE who has helped with our quilt-
ing project this year! We will start tying
again January 2nd and 3rd 2017.

Christmas/Family Day
Our Christmas/Family Day will be Sunday, December 4th following our 10:45 am worship service. This year we will once again have a “Soup Cook Off”. In addition there will be awards for best home-made bread and best pie. There will be two separate sign-up sheets on the bulletin board; one for those bringing soup and a sec-ond for bringing additional food. Following the meal, we will decorate the sanctuary tree and other areas around the church. We will also at some point have a round or two of bingo. Food pantry donations are also encouraged.
