Neighborhood Revitalization District (“NRD”) Corridorsc. Alternative Rights-of-Way

As part of the NRD, a woonerf has been provided as an alternative ROW type and applied to several locations throughout the NRD-1, including 3 Avenue. A woonerf is a Dutch term for a pedestrian-friendly, low-speed street that can be walled off from cars on weekends or special events. The design intent of these Alternative ROW conditions can be seen in Section 1.13.2.
