Established in 1987 as an Istanbul based Seed & Seedling Company. It has an official researcher institution authority in vegetables and field crops. By undertaking various tests and analysis such as disease resistance and quality properties at the molecular genetics and breeding laboratories, it supports cultivar development, improving seed & seedling propagation, local and international marketing activities.

United Genetics offers tomato for processing and fresh consumption, hot pepper, sweet pepper, watermelon, melon, squash, and cucumber seeds, among others. It focuses

on the needs of diverse customers along the vegetable supply chain; thinking of the grower by securing the versatility and robustness of the product performance, and the consumer, by focusing on physical appeal, nutritional value and the taste of the final outcome of genetics.

At the visiting enterprise Mustafakemalpaşa-Bursa branch, the company has a state of art seedling propagation units integrated with the last technology on 10 hectares area; and produces 250 million vegetable seedlings yearly

in almost all vegetables species.

Agromar Inc. was established in 1993 in Bursa-Karacabey as a seed production, processing and marketing company. Contract-based seed production with an experienced technical staff is scheduled to meet the needs of both domestic and international markets. Modern seed processing and packaging facilities founded in 2005 to offer services to the other customers besides its own needs. Hybrid and open pollinated vegetables and field crop cultivars such as sunflower, corn, and canola suitable to Turkey’s conditions are selected after field trials. The seeds of selected varieties are packaged in its own facilities and sold under Agromar brand name. Agromar Inc. successfully continues contract-based

production of corn and sunflower seeds for foreign market as well as the marketing of vegetable seeds in North and Central Anatolia. Additionally, “Agromar Fide”, a complementary of Agromar’s service and technology, was established in 1998 in Bursa-Karacabey with a 35.000 m2 production area to produce vegetable transplants to meet the agricultural industries and the grower’s requirements.

Silk Bazaar – Koza HanBuilt in 1491, Koza Han was an important stop on the Silk Road and a major trading center for the local silk industry. Today in Koza Han, peaceful tea gardens surround an elevated stone prayer chapel while two stories of silk and souvenir shops line the shady cobblestone courtyard.

Grand Mosque or Ulu Cami is built in the Seljuk style, it was ordered by the Ottoman Sultan Bayezid I and built between 1396 and 1399. The mosque has 20 domes and 2 minarets. Ulu Cami is the largest mosque in Bursa and a landmark of early Ottoman

architecture which used many elements from the Seljuk architecture. Ordered by Sultan Bayezid I, the mosque was designed and built by architect Ali Neccar in

1396–1399. There is also a fountain (şadırvan) inside the mosque where worshipers can perform ritual ablutions before prayer.
