I am VERY concerned about the erosion of morals on television shows these days. I was not impressed with the"entertainer" who flashed the vulgar sign during her act at half-time. I was further dismayed that a candy company woulddecide that it was appropriate to make an ad where their candy characters are portrayed as stripping and dancing in asuggestive way! There were children watching that game and, thus, exposed to the ads that went with it. We need sensorslike we had back a few decades ago. My son is 21. When he was younger, we had to be constantly vigilant about what cameacross the television when he was around because there is no real protection from vulgarity. Two and a half men, 30 Rockand many others seem to press up against the boundary a little harder each week. For those who say that the child will hearthose things at school anyway my comment is - what is said in school is not being piped into our homes. When it comes inon the television screen, it is like it has been approved by the parents. I have NOT approved that filth and I don't appreciatehaving to be wary of an attack of it at any moment when I watch TV. I hope to some day have grandchildren and I wouldlike to have some TV which is still decent for them to watch.

In the episode "Idiots Are People Three!" which we saw on my comcast dvr but was also on NBC 7pm central on nbcaffiliate kare 11 on 1/26/12 they have scenes relating to auto erotic exphixiation and I think that was very disturbing and veryinappropriate. While watching TV with my family, my husband flipped the channels, and landed on KNWA, 30 Rock. The image on thescreen was a young man on the floor with his pants around his ankles, in his underwear, holding what appeared to be apomographic magazine in his hands, with a plastic bag on his head. My 6 year old little girl was sitting on the couch andsaw that image, before the channel could be changed! We do not have cable TV for this reason. This is VERY indecent andnot acceptable.

How is it that NBC got away with naming an episode of 30 Rock "MILF Island"? M-I-L-F is acronym for "Mother I'd Liketo Fuck" This is shameful. The show repeated again. Where in the WORLD is the decency rules and why are they not beingenforced. Cabike is bad enuf but NBC? Please. I was in radio for 25 years and as a GM I can tell you that I'd be hung out todry if I ever let that on my airwaves. How in God's name does it get on prime-time?
