In the mid 1990’s after meeting Sonny Vaccaro Tony Squire was assigned to the ABCD Camp selection committee for the State of Virginia. Pictured is the Squires first group to attend the prestigious ABCD Camp (from left to right: Harvey Thomas, Tyrone Sally, Darius Hargrove, Dominique Jones, Antonio Hargrove, Sonny Vaccaro, Tony Squires, not pictured: Jonathan Hargett) Out of the six players invited to the ABCD Camp 5 made the All Star Game.

Squires became the 1st Adidas sponsored program in Richmond, VA.Through Sonny Squires were involved in the ABCD camp, the Big Time Tournament in Las Vegas, and the Round Ball Classic all of which were exclusive Sonny Vaccaro events.
