The College of Computer Training is one of Ireland’s leading Technology colleges. Accredited by such internationally recognised awarding bodies as HETAC, FETAC, University of Hertfordshire, and Edexcel, CCT provides flexible learning programmes from basic to Masters level.
We are delighted to launch the Aspire Eng initiative. This is a collaboration of experts within the Engineering sector of Ireland, brought together under a common goal to help up-skill interested candidates to become Engineers and Engineering Technicians. The programmes will be delivered through a flexible blended learning mode (combination of online and contact hours at CCT), by highly qualified and experienced academic and industry experts.
CCT is located in Dublin city centre’s Westmoreland St. The college occupies 26,000 square foot of learning space, with state of the art facilities, including industry aligned laboratories, lecture rooms, library space, recreational areas, and a Starbucks Coffee House in the Ground Floor of the building.

EDEXCEL Higher National Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering
Course Audience This full-time programme is ideal for any learner with an interest and motivation to embark on an Engineering career. It provides a strong introductory foundation to the more pertinent areas within the field of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. No pre-requisite knowledge within Engineering is required to commence this course, but any previous knowledge, skills or competence in the area would be advantageous.
Course OverviewThe overall aim of this programme leading to the award of HND in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, is to provide its learners with the necessary theoretical and practical skills, knowledge and competence, to gain a comprehensive and specialised, strong foundation and understanding of the area of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. It is envisioned that graduates will be able to fulfil a wide range of entry-level roles within the industry, and/or engage in further study in a wide range of areas within Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and Automation and Control Engineering, to further develop their careers. Course ContentThis programme is delivered over 2 calendar years :
