Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a packed schedule at the Monday the COP 21 summit in Paris as he addressed the conference, launched the International Solar Alliance with French President Francois Hollande, spoke at the Innovation Summit with other world leaders and held bilateral talks with several leaders including US President Barack Obama and Japan's Shinzo Abe. M. Modi emphasized the needs of the principles of equity and common but differentiated responsibilities of our collective enterprise , which shoule be aggressive mitigative action by developed countries by 2020. Further he also underlined the need for a national will and genuine global partnership while taking steps to hammer out a climate change deal.

M. Tirthankar Goyal( Chairman-Assocham France) had the opportunity to addess the event during the COP 21 summit, and the role and support of Indian industry in the International Solar Alliance in terms of development of renewable energy in colloboration of Indian govenemnt . He added that

Assocham is ready to deploy its resources , if funds and technology comes to India . As he hoped that the developed countries would mobilise $100 billion annually by 2020 for mitigation and adaptation. Assocham is ready to partnership with investmentment in the solar sector, joint ventures and developing innovative financing mechanisms. He added that there is already a revolution in solar energy. Technology is evolving, costs are coming down and grid connectivity is improving

Mr. Tirthankar Goyal-Chairman Assocham France along with M. Piyush Goyal ( Minister for Energy) and M. Prakash Javedkar ( Minister for Enviroment) and Industry leaders from India. M. Tirthankar Goyal discussed with M. Piyush Goyal and indicated the willingness on the part of Assocham to partnership with GOI in the target of generating 1,75,000 MW of Renewable energy ( RE) by 2022 to ensure energy security of the country. Assocham will bring and looking for new technologies, Machines, Equipment, training of technical personnel, exchange of information and data, joint research and transfer of know-how and technology from Europeans countries particularily Germany and France . It would cover solar, wind, bio-energy, tidal and wave energy sectors.
