Thats the beauty of it. Time and space are irrelevant when engaging in

prayer. Distance makes no difference.

5. What if I have no experience in the healing arts?

Not to worry. You just sincerely pray with faith and a loving heart and leave

the healing up to God. In other wordsJust let go and let God.

6. What do you recommend for best results?

Every time you think of the people you are praying for, visualize them as already

whole, perfect and complete. This creates the space for them to rise up to

And remember what Jesus said in John 14:12 NKJV Most assuredly, I say to

Jesus gave believers the Power of Attorney to do what He did!

7. What should I do when I finish praying?

Relaxget out of the wayand let God do the heavy work. Trust (have faith)

that your prayers have been received, then (most importantly) release and let

go of all fears, worries and attachments as to how and when things happen.

8. Should I do these prayers every day until healing occurs?

Praying for the same thing over and over again implies a lack of faith. And

when you plant the seed of doubtyou will likely go without! Pray with love in

your heart, fully expecting Gods grandest plan to prevail. Next, give thanks

that what you prayed for is in the process of manifesting. And, above all,

completely surrender your attachment to the outcome and trust God to take

care of the details. As alwaysLet go and let God.

9. Why do you refer to these prayers as miraculous?

Actually, those who use these healing prayers refer to them as miraculous

because the results they experience often defy logical explanation!

The 3-Minute Miracle

Humble Beginnings

The 3-Minute Miraclewas birthed out of a heartfelt prayer of

appreciation on Thanksgiving Day, 2007. As I recalled all the times God

showered me with His favor and grace in my darkest hours, my heart

overflowed with such profound gratitude that I could think of little else.

I became impassioned to find ways to express the depths of my

appreciation and gratitude. Because I had no idea of where to start, I

thanked God for all of my blessings and prayed for Divine Guidance.

And then it happened! Just minutes later, I found myself writing

what later turned out to be The Miraculous Healing Prayera simple

prayer with pictures designed to invite miraculous healing for others. I

can assure you that no one was more surprised than I was.

As I colored in the diagrams of the human anatomy with my

yellow highlighter and filled in the blanks with the names of friends and

family who had asked for my support, I was amazed to later discover

that many of them (including their caregivers) had experienced spon-

taneous healings and accelerated recoveriesoften when there was

nothing more than a dim chance and a bright hope!

Then later, as a result of a close friend asking me to help him find

ways to reclaim his OWN health, the Holy Spirit (my constant companion)

inspired me to write The Health Redemption Prayer a powerful prayerdesigned to invite healing for ones self. My friend said he felt noticeably

better within minutes of engaging in this prayer. And not long after that,

The Global Healing Prayer was born to complete this trilogy of healing

prayers with pictures.

These divinely inspired prayers have proven to work well regard-

less of ones spiritual or religious orientationeven for those who have

never prayed before. What makes them even more powerful is the

element of synergy that occurs when two or more people come together

in Jesus name.

The Power of Prayer

Prayer Moves God into Action!

Prayer is its own special miracleand you don't even have to be

a believer to pray. In fact, studies suggest that non-believers pray

almost as often as believers.

Its often been said that there are no atheists in a foxhole. Thats

probably because, when people are scared and desperate, they arewilling to accept help from wherever they can get it.

Why Pray in Jesus Name?

True Confessions

Im embarrassed to admit that I was once very confused about

how and to whom to pray. Should I pray to Godor should I pray to

Jesus? What about the Holy Spirit, the Virgin Mary, the Saints and all of

Gods Angels? Am I supposed to pray to them too?

The article below was very helpful to me and perhaps it may be

helpful to you as well. Hopefully it will answer the age-old question of

To whom do I pray and why?

Why Pray in Jesus Name?

What does it mean to pray in Jesus name? First, let us establish

that it is scriptural to do so as you review the following verses:

John 14:13NKJV And whatever you ask in My name, that will I

do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

John 14:14NKJV If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.

John 15:16NKJV You did not choose Me, but I chose you and

appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your

fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My

name He may give you.

John 16:23NKJV And in that day, you will ask Me (Jesus) nothing.Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in

My name He will give you.

John 16:24 NKJV Untilnow, you have asked nothing in My name.

Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.

John 16:26-27 NLT Then you will ask in My name. Im not saying

I will ask the Father on your behalf, for the Father Himself loves

you dearly because you love me and you believe I came from

God.

You will notice that in all of these scriptures Jesus tells His

disciples to pray to the Father in His (Jesus) name. But is this just a

formulaor is there something more to it? In order to get to the bottom

of praying in the name of Jesus, we need to consider three things:

1. The biblical concept of name

2. The power and importance of Gods name

3. What it means to act in someone elses name.

The Biblical Concept of Name

We must first realize that the concept of name in scripture

involves much more than a tag that identifies that person and distin-

guishes him or her from other people. Although it does do that, it also

has a much deeper meaning. Name in scripture represents the very

essence of the person. A person's personality, character, reputation and

authority are all wrapped up in his name.

Proverbs 22:1 NKJV Choose a good reputation (name) over great

riches. Being held in high esteem is better than silver or gold.

Ecclesiastes 7:1NLT A good reputation (name) is more valuable

than costly perfume. And the day you die is better than the day

you are born.

Notice the extraordinary value of a good name. Besides a mans

soul, this is the most important possession a man has. We should cherish

a good name because it refers to virtue and integrity. It must be nurtured

and respected as a most precious possession.

The Importance of Gods Name

That also explains why God's name is so often exalted in scrip-

ture. Gods name is a declaration of the greatness of His person.

Consider these verses:

Psalm 8:1NLT O LORD, our LORD, your majestic name fills the

earth! Your glory is higher than the heavens.

Psalm 103:1 NLT Let all that I am praise the LORD; with my

whole heart, I will praise His holy name.

Psalm 113:1-3 NLT Praise the LORD. Yes, give praise, O servants

of the LORD. Praise the name of the LORD. Blessed be the name

of the LORD now and forever. Everywhere - from east to west -

praise the name of the Lord.

Psalm 148:13NKJV Let them praise the name of the LORD for His

name alone is exalted; His glory is above the earth and heaven.

Because Gods name is excellent, we are to exalt it in our prayer

and in our praise. Jesus taught His disciples to pray, "Our Father in

heaven, Hallowed be thy name" ~Matthew 6:9 NKJV. For the Scripturessay, As surely as I live, says the LORD, every knee will bend to me,

and every tongue will confess and give praise to God.~Romans 14:11

NLT. Why? God also has highly exalted Him, and given Him a name

which is above every name. ~Philippians 2:9 NKJV. His exalted name

brings worship and praise.

Hopefully, we now understand the importance of a name in

scripture. We know that Gods name is exalted above all other names.

Now, what does it mean to do something in the name of someone else?

Acting in the Name of Another

Doing something in someone else's name has two implications.

First, you come by the authority of the other person. You are not

coming in your own authority, but because someone else authorized you

to take these actions.

When David fought Goliath, he came unto him "in the name of

the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have

defied." ~1 Samuel 17:45 NKJV. He was not coming in his own power or

authority but in that which belonged to God alone. This gave David the

authority and ability to fight against the giant Goliathand win!

Second, when you come in someones name, you come in his

stead. The person to whom you come is expected to react to you, not

on the basis of who you are, but as if the person who sent you was

there himself. They are to treat you as they would treat the one who

authorized you to come.

When David sent servants to Nabal to ask for food, "they spoke

to Nabal according to all these words in the name of David, and waited."

~1 Samuel 25:9 NKJV. Therefore, when Nabal insulted David's servants(who came in David's name), he insulted David just as directly as if he

had spoken to him to his face.

Praying in the Name of Jesus

Now, let's apply this to praying in the name of Jesus. What is the

significance of this? First, it means that when we come to the Father, we

come because Jesus sent us. It is not simply our own idea to speak to

the God of heaven and earth. We are sent to Him by His own Son. Let

us therefore come boldly to the Throne of Grace, that we may obtain

mercy and find grace to help in time of need. ~Hebrews 4:16 NKJV.

If one of the angels were to ask us on the way in, What are you

doing here?we can reply, The Son sent me. What a glorious commis-

sion! We are sent by the Son to seek help from the Father!

Second, the Father is obligated to treat us as He would His own

Son because we come in His stead. We represent the Son when we

come to the Father. You don't believe this? Perhaps you say this is just

too much? Then read the verses below:

Ephesians 1:5-6 NLT God decided in advance to adopt us into

His own family by bringing us to Himself through Jesus Christ.

This is what He wanted to do, and it gave Him great pleasure.

So we praise God for the glorious grace He has poured out on

us who belong to His dear Son.

Romans 8:17 NKJV and if children, then heirs heirs of God

and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we

may be also be glorified together.

We are adopted into the family of God as children. We are

accepted in the Beloved. Since Christ is the Beloved Son, that means

that the Father accepts us as He would His own Son.

Finally, we are joint heirs with Jesus Christ. We share in the

same inheritance. The Father looks upon the redeemed as if He were

looking on His Son, Jesus Christ. What a blessing that Christ has told us

to approach the Father in His name! What a glorious heritage!

Can you now see the benefit of coming to the Father in the Sons

name? Its not about simply referring to Jesus or just adding the phrase, in Jesus name to the end of our prayers. Noits much more than

that. It means that you come to the Father with the knowledge that

your only right in approaching Him is that Jesus died on the cross for

your sins and that He Himself has sent you to the Father.

It means that you know that, in of yourself, you may not be

worthy of receiving anything from God, and that the only reason God

should grant your requests is that you come in Jesus name. It is not a

magic formula, but rather an attitude from your heart.

Often, in my times of serious prayer about a particular need, I

will spell this out. I acknowledge that I am unworthy to receive anything

from God. I affirm that I come only in the name of God's Son, Jesus

Christ. I am reminded of what was written in Romans 8:32 NLT:

Since He did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for

us all, wont He also give us everything else?

I am reminded that He did not withhold His own Son from me

and that He promised not to withhold any good thing from me. I declare

that I only ask for these things in the name of His Son.

In all my prayers, I say, "in Jesus' name." However, I know that

the phrase means nothing without a sincere feeling of love and gratitude.

Who I am makes little or no difference. But, when I come in the name

we have to approach God is through the shed blood of His Son, Jesus

Simple Instructions

I am so grateful to You, dear LORD, for giving us abundant natural resources

that continue to sustain our lives. I marvel in utter amazement at the com-

plexity and excellence of all that You provide.

Every element of Mother Earth is divinely designed and is a true expression of

perfection. Her ecology system is exquisite in every detail. The unique role we

each play in supporting one another is nothing short of ingenious.

Because she has given so much to me, I am eager to support Mother Earth

from now on by pledging to be of greater support to All Life Everywhere. Each

day, wherever I am, I will ask myself the following question:

What can I do to leave wherever I go

in better condition than I found it?

To do my part to make this world a better place, I shall find creative ways to

make a positive difference in all that I do. From this day forward, I promise todo the following three things to the best of my ability. Starting today

1. I herebypromise to minimize waste by using reusable bags. From now

on, I will either bring a bag or buy a bag whenever I go shopping. I

shall also limit my use of disposable plates, cups and utensils, etc.

glass as my way of helping to conserve resources and preserve our

precious landfills.

3. I herebypromise to turn out all lights and turn off all appliances when-

ever I am not using them.

About the Author

Because I was a 24/7 caregiver for my husband

Ron from 1991-1994 when he had Stage IV cancer

and again in 2002 when (as a pedestrian) he was

hit by a truckand yet again in 2003 when he had a

major stroke, I spent every waking moment searching

for ways to help him regain his wellness.

I am thrilled to report that Ron Aldana is not

only alive today, but hes one of the happiest and most grateful people on

the planet! After overcoming Stage IV cancer against all odds, I nick-

named him Long Shot. After escaping the jaws of death two additional

times, I was then inspired to call him Miracle Man.

Although these near-death episodes certainly felt challenging at

the time, they turned out to be enormous giftsnot only for Ron and me,

but for people all over the world who are actively seeking relief from the

oppression of disease, distress and despair.

Because of (not in spite of) our so-called challenges, I became

unstoppable in my quest for the solutions that led to Rons recovery. After

struggling endlessly (unaware that I didnt have to do everything myself),

I finally threw my hands up in the air and exclaimed right out loud to God,

Either show me a way to experience more JOY in my life or just come

take me NOW! In other words

Either SHOW me a way or HAUL me away!

This is when I discovered I had an entire celestial workforce of

unemployed heavenly helpers who were eager to be of service. Once I got

out of my own way long enough, the floodgates of awareness flew wide

open. There were so many positive possibilities that I could hardly keep

up with them. Miraculous manifestations were flowing in so fast that it

was like trying to get a drink of water from a fire hydrant!
