Welcome to Evergreen Park. Our Village nicknamed “The Village of Churches” was officially incorporated in 1893. We have many things to be thankful for- excellent schools, many churches, a hospital, beautiful recreational facilities, fine businesses, friendly residents, and the best employees in the world. It truly is a great place to live and to visit. We hope you’ll feel at home here and find much to enjoy and appreciate in our wonderful community.

The Evergreen Park Athletic Association was established in 1951, it is one of the oldest baseball leagues and one of the original chartered Little Leagues in the state of Illinois. “Norris Field” home of the 2010 State Tournament, is dedicated to Robert M. Norris Sr.; a trustee for the Village who passed away in 1987. Mr. Norris was instrumental in starting and organizing our local Little League.

We are proud to be your host for the 2010 Illinois Little League Baseball State Tournament. We hope you find our community as inviting as we do, that you have a safe return home and that your travels may lead you back here someday.
