Introducing Family Fun Night! In years past we have invited the entire community to join us for the Family Carnival, but this year we ask that you be intentional in personally inviting a friend or neighbor, who needs a place to experience the love of Christ, to join us for Family Fun Night on October 30th. Our prayer is that Family Fun Night will be an opportunity for relationships to grow while enjoying food, candy, games and inflatables. Opportunities to get involved are endless. A box is provided in the Coffe Corner for candy, and we need LOTS and LOTS of candy! Ways for your Small Group to serve together at the Family Fun Night include running games and inflatables, providing supplies such as can drinks, cupcakes, brownies, pencils, and more. A signup sheet will be available in your small group. Start praying now about who you can invite who needs a place to experience the love of Christ. Invite cards will be available at the Info Table.

You are the salt of the earth...

Matthew 5:13

Our purpose is to point students to God, and lead them into a changing relationship with Jesus and with others around them. Our youth group name, The Saltshakers, comes from Matthew 5:13, where Jesus is talking to His disciples and He says, “you are the salt of the earth.” At Saltshaker Youth Ministry we want to use every opportunity to be salt, a taste of God, to the world around us.

How many times have you compared yourself with someone else today? Seriously — see if you can count. Whether it's their stuff, their looks, their skills, or their popularity, we

can't help but notice all the things other people have, and how those things compare to all the things we wish we had. But in this 4-week series, we're going to

focus on four things that God has given to every single one of us. You have a past, you have today, you have a future, and you have a family. All four of these things make you

valuable and uniquely you. Series begins October 2nd.

There are many ways for students to serve and be in leadership at FCC in the youth ministry and other ministries around the church. Talk with Josh Hale if you are interested in being in student leadership!

Saltshaker Small Groups are for students in grades 7-12 on Sunday evenings from

6pm to 8pm in the Family Life Center Gym.

Small groups is a time of hanging out, reflection over the lesson from Wednesday evening, and for students to grow closer together.

TCTC is a weekend event for students in grades 7-12 in Gatlinburg, TN. The total cost, if registered by Wed. Oct. 30th, is $100.
