Add  A  Sticky  Note  

Open  the  media  box  by  tapping  the  +  sign.    Tap  Stickies.  

The  first  3  choices:  Blank,  Lines  and  Grid  are  sticky  notes  for  writing  on.    The  4th  one,  Typing,  is  another  way  to  add  a  text  box  to  a  note.    See  the  section,  Typed  Notes  in  Notability,  for  a  quicker  way  to  add  a  text  box.    

Tap  Blank    A  colored  box  with  with  handles,  for  resizing  and  moving,  will  appear,  as  well  as  a  space  to  type  in  a  caption  for  the  note.    

                         

   

                     

     

             

                             

Tap  out  side  of  the  sticky  note  to  remove  the  handles.    Select  the  colored  pencil  icon  from  the  tools  menu  and  begin  to  draw  or  write.      The  magnifying  glass  can  be  used  on  a  sticky  note.  

Change  the  sticky  note  paper:    Select  the  note  by  first  taping  the  t  icon,  and  then  tap  the  note.    Select  Paper  from  the  menu  that  appears.      

Select  a  different  note  color.    Adding  grid  lines  or  horizontal  lines  can  be  done  here  also.  

You  can  resize  the  sticky  note  after  drawing  on  it;  however,  the  drawing  itself  will  remain  the  same  size.  

             

                                                   

         

           

             

The  wrench  icon  (Utilities)  lets  you  changed  the  note  paper  and  add  grid  or  horizontal  lines,  and  access  the  help  menu.      

Export  Your  Notes  

Notability  offers  a  variety  of  options  for  sending  your  notes  out.    

In  a  note,  tap  the  export  icon  and  make  your  choice.
