INTRODUCING OUR 24/7 VIRTUAL BRANCH

By now you should have received a letter, proxy ballot and packet of information with frequently asked questions along with bank-specific information. As a reminder, this mailing is regarding the reorganization of the Bank into a mutual holding structure and the consolidation with First Federal Savings & Loan of Mattoon.

I urge you to read the package of materials you received carefully. Your Board of Directors unanimously recommends that you vote FOR the Plan. The Plan must be approved by at least a majority of votes eligible to be cast. Therefore, your vote is very important. Not voting has the same effect as a vote against the plan.

All proxies must be received by Saturday, August 8, 2015 to be effective.

If you have any questions, please stop by the Bank or call (217) 347-7173. We would be happy to answer any questions you might have about the consolidation or the proxy vote.

SMART OPTION STUDENT LOAN

For the upcoming 2015/16 academic year, Washington Saving Bank has partnered with Sallie Mae to bring our customers the Smart Option Student Loan®, allowing families to design the private education loan that’s right for them.

• Competitive Rate: Access competitive variable and fixed interest rates.• No Origination Fees: Customers benefit from no origination fees or prepayment penalties with the Smart Option Student Loan.• Choice and Flexibility: Multiple convenient repayment options are available for students and their families to choose the option that best meets their needs. Students are encouraged to make payments while in school to reduce finance charges and the amount owed, and more than half of customers choose this option.• Interest Rate Reduction: Customers may be eligible for an interest rate reduction by enrolling in the automatic debit option.

Keep in mind that many students heading to college are new to credit and may have little or no credit history. Adding a cosigner, such as a parent or other creditworthy person, may offer a better chance of approval and may help lower your interest rate.

Washington Savings Bank is compensated for the referral of Smart Option Student Loan customers.

For more information or to apply visit www.washingtonsavings.net or call (217) 347-7173.
