I am pleased to write this letter of recommendation for Mr. Jos6 Canto Moreira, who has

worked at our school as a Long-Life Term Contract Physical Education Teacher for the last

seven years. During Mr. Moreira presence in our school, we were introduced to several

facets of his life. Within a few months of joining to us, Mr. Moreira became one of the most

popular professors among students, co-workers and staff alike. Apart of intellect, and

passion for teaching, he has an excellent command over speech and other exceptional

communication skills which he uses efficiently when interacting with his students and

parents as well as, what makes Mr. Moreira an outstanding teacher without any

reservation.

Beyond his academic excellence as a Physical Education Teacher, Mr. Moreira has also

been a dedicated enthusiastic participant and founder to extra-curricular core mainly

focused on a wide range of outdoor sports activities such as, Canoeing, Sailing, SUP,

Undenryater Skills, Scuba Diving, Snorkeling, Kids Fishing, Windsurf, Micro Magic,

Climbing, Orienteering and Canoe Polo.

Our school system will certainly feel the loss of Mr. Moreira's many teaching talents, but

with better opporiunities coming on his way, and followed by one of his major dreams, he

decided to request to the Portuguese Ministry of Education, for a temporary absence, in

order to increase his professional training main needs.
