Air India Air Transport Services Limited (AIATSL) wishes to engage Indian nationals, who meet with the requirements
specified herein, for the post ofSecurity Agent, on a fixed-term contract, for a period of three years OR till such
time AIATSL has the contract for ground handling functions at International Airports, at VARIOUS REGIONS, asindicated below and to maintain a waitlist of all categories, for the same:

6.2 A recent ( not more than 3 months old ) coloured passport size photograph of the full face ( front view ) shouldbe pasted neatly in the space provided in the application form.
6.3 Self-attested copies of the supportive documents in respect of Item Nos. 2, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, of theApplication Form must be submitted along with the application. Original Certificates should not be submittedalong with the application, but should be brought along for verification. The Company is not responsible forreturning any original copy/ies of Certificates / Testimonials submitted with the application.
6.4 Attested photocopy of the Caste Certificate should also be submitted in case of SC/ST candidates.6.5 Candidates belonging to OBC category must submit a duly attested photocopy of current financial year
certificate in the format as prescribed by Government of India and issued by the Competent Authority. Thecertificate, inter-alia, must specifically state that the candidate does not belong to socially advanced sectionsexcluded from the benefits of reservation for OBC in civil posts and services, under the Government of India.
The Certificate should also contain the Creamy Layer Exclusion clause. The Certificate produced by thecandidates of OBC community should be as per the Central List of OBCs published by the Governmentof India and not as per State list
6.6 Applicants working in Government / Semi-Government / Public Sector Undertakings or autonomous bodies,must walk-in with the completed Application Form routed through proper channel or along with No ObjectionCertificate from their present employer
7. General Conditions :7.1 The short listed candidates will be considered for engagement on a fixed-term Contract basis, at any station
within the region, subject to their Medical fitness, prescribed for the position.7.2 Candidates will have to bear the cost of the Pre-Employment Medical Examination(s), which could be between
Rs.500/- and Rs.1000/. Any additional tests, if required, the additional cost thereof will also have to be borneby the candidate.
7.3 Period of Contract : Fixed Term Contract for a period of three years OR till such time AIATSL has the Contractfor ground handling functions at Airport, whichever is earlier. This Contract could also be terminated earlier atthe discretion of the Management during the tenure of contract, and/or in the event of unsatisfactoryperformance. The job is transferable to any station in India.
7.4 Emoluments : The job carries an all-inclusive package as indicated above plus Annual Retention Bonus asapplicable, is also payable.
7.5 Relaxation of height requirement up to 2.54 cms ( 1 ) will be considered for Gorkhas, Garhwalis and thosehailing from North-East States & hilly areas. This relaxation will be granted to candidates who produce aCertificate of Domicile of these areas.
7.6 Consideration of SC/ST/OBC candidates will be as per Government Directives on reservation of posts.7.7 SC/ST candidates called for Trade Test/Personal Interview (s), residing beyond 80 kms. from the Test Center,
and not employed in any Government / Semi-Government / Public Sector Undertaking or Autonomous Bodies,will be re-imbursed second class to & fro rail / bus fare by the shortest route as per rules, on production ofevidence to that effect.
7.8 Applications which are unsigned / incomplete / mutilated / received after the prescribed Walk-In date & Time/ not in person will be rejected. Applications sent by email / post will not be considered.
7.9 The applicant / candidates must ensure that they fulfil all the eligibility criteria, as on 1st January, 2010, andthat the particulars furnished by them in the Application are correct in all respects. At any stage of theSelection Process, if the particulars provided by the candidates in the Application or testimonials supplied arefound incorrect / false, or not meeting with the eligibili ty requirements prescribed for the post, the candidatureis liable to be rejected and, if appointed, services terminated, without giving any notice or reasons therefor.

3. Eligibility Criteria :
Nationality / Citizenship : A candidate must be either (i) a citizen of India, OR (ii) a subject of Nepal,OR (iii) subject of Bhutan, OR (iv) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1 st January, 1962
with the intention of permanently settling in India, OR (v) a person of Indian origin who has migratedfrom Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic ofTanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethopia and Vietnam with the
intention of permanently settling in India. Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii),(iv).& (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the
Government of India. A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may beadmitted to the examination/ interview conducted by the Bank but on final selection the offer of
appointment may be given only after the necessary eligibility certificates have been issued to himby the Government of India.

4. Above relaxations are available only if the candidates fulfill the various conditions prescribed in
the Govt. of India orders and instructions in this regard. To claim relaxation in age, fees etc.reserved category candidates should submit a copy of the relevant certificate in support of his/
her claim at the time Pre-examination training and/or interview.Definitions :
(a) Ex-Servicemen : Only those candidates shall be treated as Ex-servicemen who fulfill therevised definition as laid down in Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, Department ofPersonnel and Administrative Reforms Notification No. 36034/5/85/Estt(SCT) dated 27th October
1986 as amended from time to time.(b) Disabled Ex-Servicemen (DISXS) : Ex-Servicemen who while serving in Armed Forces of
the Union were disabled in operation against the enemy or in disturbed areas shall be treated asDISXS.
(c) Dependents of Servicemen killed in Action (DXS) : Servicemen killed in the followingoperations would be deemed to have been killed in action attributable to Military Service (i)war, (ii) war like operations or border skirmishes either with Pakistan on cease fire line or any
other country, (iii) Fighting against armed hostilities in a counter insurgency environment viz.Nagaland, Mizoram,etc. (iv) Serving with peace keeping mission abroad (v) Laying or clear-
ance of mines including enemy mines as also mine sweeping operation between one monthbefore and three months after conclusion of an operation, (vi) Frost bite during actual opera-tions or during the period specified by the Government (vii) Dealing with agitating Para military
forces personnel, (viii) IPKF personnel killed during the operations in Sri Lanka.Note :
1. Candidates still serving in Defence Services and desirous of applying under Ex-Servicemencategory should submit a certificate from the competent authority that they would be released/
retired on or before 31.12.2010.2. Ex-Servicemen candidates who have already secured employment under the Central
Government in Group C & D will be permitted the benefit of age relaxation as prescribed for
Ex-Servicemen for securing another employment in a higher grade or cadre in Group C/Dunder the Central Government. However such candidates will not be eligible for the benefit
of reservation for Ex-Servicemen in Central Govt. Jobs.3. The Territorial Army Personnel will however be treated as Ex-servicemen w.e.f. 15.11.1986.

4. An ex-Servicemen who has once joined a Government job on civil side after availing of thebenefits given to him/her as an Ex-Servicemen for his/her re-employment, his/her Ex-Service-men status for the purpose of the re-employment in Government ceases.
(d) Physically Challenged Persons (PC) Definition of Categories of Disabilities1) Orthopaedically Challenged (OC) person is one suffering from Locomotor Disability or
Cerebral Palsy. Persons who suffer from not less than 40% of relevant disability (as certifiedby a Medical Board appointed by the Center/ State Govt). Locomotor Disability means disability
of the bones, joints or muscles leading to substantial restriction of the movement of the limbs orany form of cerebral palsy. Cerebral Palsy means a group of non progressive conditions of aperson characterized by abnormal motor control posture resulting from brain insult or injuries
occurring in the pre-natal, peri-natal, or infant period of development.2) Deaf & Hearing Impaired (HI) : The deaf are those persons in whom the sense of hearing is
non- functional for ordinary purposes of life i.e. total loss of hearing in both ears. They do nothear, understand sounds at all even with amplified speech. Hearing impairment means loss ofsixty decibels or more in the better ear in the conversational range of frequencies.
3) Visually Impaired (VI): The visually impaired persons are those suffering from blindness orlow vision. Blindness refers to a condition where a person suffers from any of the following
conditions (i) total absence of sight, (ii) Visual acuity not exceeding 6/60 or 20/200 (Snellen)in the better eye with correcting lenses, (iii) Limitation of the field of vision subtending an angle
of 20 degree or worse. Person with low vision means a person with impairment of visualfunctioning even after treatment or standard refractive correction, but who uses or is poten-tially capable of using vision for the planning or execution of a task with appropriate assistive
device.The visually impaired (VI) candidates and candidates whose writing speed is affected by cerebral
palsy (OC) can use their own scribe at their cost during the written examination. In all such caseswhere a scribe is used, the following rules will apply: 1.The candidate will have to arrange his/ her
own scribe a his/ her own cost.2.The academic qualification of the scribe should be one grade lowerthan the stipulated eligibility criteria. 3. The scribe can be from any academic discipline. The scribeshould possess lesser marks than the candidate and not more than 60% marks in his own academic
stream. 4. Both the candidates as well as the scribe will have to give a suitable undertaking, confirm-ing that the scribe fulfills all the stipulated eligibility criteria for a scribe as mentioned above. Further, in
case, it later transpires that he/ she did not fulfill any of the laid down eligibility criteria or suppressedmaterial facts; the candidature of the applicant will stand cancelled, irrespective of the result of thewritten examination. 5. 4. Selection Procedure :
Selection will be made on the basis of performance in the written test and interview taken
together. Merely satisfying the eligibility norm does not entitle a candidate to be called for written
test or interview.
(a) The Written Test (Objective Tests + Descriptive Paper) will be as under:
I Objective Tests consisting of (1) Test of Reasoning Ability, (2) Test of Numerical Ability,
(3) Test of English Language, (4) Test of Clerical Aptitude, (5) Test of Computer knowledge.
Note : The questions in Objective tests except for the Test of English will be printed in bilingual i.e.
English & Hindi. There will be negative marks for the wrong answers in the Objective Tests.
And
II Descriptive Paper on English Comprehension (Qualifying Test)
Note :The questions in Descriptive Paper will be printed in English & is for the purpose to evaluate the
understanding power of candidates in English comprehension only The candidates will have to
answer the Descriptive Paper in English only.
III. Detailed information regarding the written test will be given in the information booklet which will
be sent to the eligible candidates alongwith the Call Letter for the test.
IV. The candidates must pass in each of the objective tests and the Descriptive paper. The
marks obtained in the Descriptive paper do not reckon in the aggregate for merit ranking. The
passing marks in each of the test including the descriptive paper will be decided by the Bank
on the basis of the performance of all the competing candidates taken together in each test
to a minimum required level. Candidates are also required to score a minimum in aggregate to
be considered for being called for interview.
(b) I nter vie w
(i) Depending upon the number of vacancies, candidates who pass in each objective test and
rank sufficiently high on the basis of the aggregate marks in the written examination would
only be called for Interview.
(ii) The candidates have to secure minimum passing marks in the Interview.
(iii) Final selection will be made on the basis of the aggregate marks obtained by the candidates
in the written test & interview and will be strictly according to merit depending upon the
number of vacancies.
(c) Probation :For Clerk cum Cashier - 6 months
The candidate will remain initially on probation for a period of six months from the date of joining
in the Banks service which may be extended at the Banks discretion. The confirmation to thepermanent establishment of the bank will be considered as applicable in the terms of Bipartite Settle-

7.Request for change of centre of Examination shall not be entertained . The Bank, however,reserves the right to cancel any of the Centers and/ or add other Centers, depending on the response,

8. Pre-Examination Training :

(a) In the event of non-availability of eligible and suitable women candidates, the vacancies shall
be filled up by suitable male candidates.
(b) The number of vacancies to be filled up on the basis of this recruitment is subject to change
by Government without notice depending upon the exigencies of public service at the
discretion of the State Government.
3. AGE : (i) A candidate must be above 21 years and below 37 years (relaxable limit of 5 yearsincluded) of age on the 1st August, 2009. The upper age limit is further relaxed upto 42 years of age
in case of P.H. candidates and Graduate Engineers who are already in panel as per Water Resources
Department Resolution No.470, dt.04.01.2002.
Provided that a person who comes under more than one category mentioned above shall be eligible
for only one benefit of upper age relaxation, which shall be considered most beneficial to him/her.
(ii) The upper age limit may be fully relaxed in respect of candidates who have entered the State
Government service as J.E. within the prescribed age limit but without qualification prescribed
under clause (d) of Rule-9 of O.S.E. Rules, 1941 and have subsequently acquired the Graduate
Engineering Degree while serving as such.
(iii) The upper age limit may also be relaxed in respect of the D.L.R./ N.M.R. Graduate Engineers,
who are working under the Works Department, Rural Development Department, Housing & Urban
Development Department and Water Resources Department subject to the following conditions:-
(a) The workers should have been engaged prior to 12.04.1993,i.e. prior to promulgation of ban
on engagement of N.M.R./D.L.R. Job Contract Workers etc vide Finance Department Circular
No WF-11-180/92-17815/F.,Dt.12.04.93.
(b) They should have the minimum educational/technical qualification prescribed under para-4 of
the advertisement for the post of Assistant Engineer (Civil).
(c) They should be within the age limit prescribed for first appointment to Government service
after deduction of the number of years they have worked underworks Department, Rural
Development Department, Housing & Urban Development Department & Water ResourcesDepartment.
SAVE AS PROVIDED ABOVE THE AGE LIMITS PRESCRIBED CAN IN NO CASE BE RELAXED.
Date of birth entered in the High School Certificate or equivalent Certificate issued by the concerned
Board/Council will only be accepted by the Commission.
4. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
A candidate must (a) hold a Degree in Civil Engineering from an Indian University or a Diploma in Civil
Engineering from an Indian Engineering College; or (b) be an Associated Member of the Institution of
Engineers Civil (India), or (c) hold a degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering from one of the Universities
or Civil Engineering Colleges in the United Kingdom enumerated in the Appendix-l to this advertisement
or have passed one of the examinations mentioned therein.
5. HOW TO APPLY :
(a) (i) Application Form : Candidates are required to apply to the Secretary to the Commission
in the prescribed form which along with other particulars are obtainable in person from

cash payment of Rs.30/-(Rupees thirty) only or by registered post on remittance of

advertisement number and name of the post/service advertised must be specified in the
money-order coupon in BOLD CAPITAL LETTERS.

(b) Submission of applications: Candidates are required to send their applications in prescribed
