The 25G DUTs was observed to not establish a link with 39 out of 882 Link Partner and cable combinations. Additionally, 3 attempts to establish link were skipped. The 50G DUTs was observed to not establish a link with 13 out of 354 Link Partner and cable combinations. Additionally, 6 attempts to establish link were skipped.

2 – Packet Error Ratio

The 25G DUTs was observed to drop more than 9 packets with 48 out of 760 Link Partner and cable combinations. Additionally, 125 attempts to calculate a packet error ratio were skipped. The 50G DUTs was observed to drop more than 9 packets with 12 out of 323 Link Partner and cable combinations. Additionally, 37 attempts to calculate a packet error ratio were skipped.

TEST SETUP All tests completed were completed using a variant of the test configuration shown below. The

configuration used either an Ixia XGS2 with a Novus 25G or Multis 25/50G blade, or Spirent

Test Center N4U with a FX3-100GQ-T2 blade, or used internal generators in the DUT and Link

Partner. The DUT and Link Partner were connected via a direct attach copper SFP28 or

QSFP28 cable labeled at the Cable Under Test.
