1) Read one paragraph silently. 2) Work with your partner to write a 1 or 2 sentence

summary of the paragraph. Use paraphrasing. 3) Make two copies (of each summary sentence).

One copy should be written on the colored paper (make it large!) One sentence should be on each color.

One copy should be added to the paragraph summary of the whole article. (transitions should be added)
