We are delighted to announce that the 25th edition of the SWIFT African Regional Conference will take place in Kigali, Rwanda on 20-22 June 2018.

How can technology, innovation and disruption can produce tangible solutions to the continent’s most pressing challenges? With so many forces transforming the world in which banks and other financial services firms operate, ARC 2018 will explore the future of Africa’s financial services sector with a focus on innovation, new technology, cyber security and compliance.


SECURE Financial institutions have long been the prime targets for cybercrime and the estimated cost of cybercrime in Africa has soared in recent years. The threat landscape for financial institutions is constantly evolving and banks are under increasing pressure to invest time, money and resources to stay ahead of the game. Is the financial industry doing enough to combat this threat and secure its future in this challenging environment? Day Two will look at the how banks can stay resilient in the cyber-age, and how governments and regulators across the continent can help the financial community better prepare and protect itself from cybercrime.
