The G20 Summit in the Turkish resort of Antalya has brought

together the world’s most powerful leaders, soon after the Paris attacks on Friday. While the discussions at the summit were focused on bringing an end to the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) militant group, which claimed the attacks on the French capital, the G20 addressed various issues affecting the world in recent times, including immigration crisis and increasing terror attacks. G20 Leaders’ Summit mostly looked at global development, within a day, priorities shifted to terror-crisis underlining special importance to Turkey’s role in the region. Even

though, the attacks on Paris have caused the international community to unite against terrorism , the G20 countries are not focusing on cooperative or collaborative approaches to terrorism as Vladimir Putin, President of Russia believes that some of the countries in the G20 are actively supporting ISIS financially.Although this topic was essential especially after Paris tragedy and most of the G20 members were discussing on war against ISIS, Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau was not a part of the conversation. Trudeau found himself rather in an off-the-road position at this G20 summit and he

amidst plans to withdraw Canadian CF-18 fighter jets from Syria’s fight against ISIS, but other G20 members remained insistent on hitting ISIS harder. Leaders from world’s 20 biggest economies said that they would introduce tighter border controls, increase intelligence sharing and crack down on financing of terrorist groups. Other world leaders featured include U.S. President Barack Obama, Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chinese President Xi Jinping, UK Prime Minister David Cameroon, Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull, Brazilian President Dilma Roussef, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Japanese Prime Minister Sinzo

2Abe, European Council President Donald Tusk, and Prime Minister of India – Narendra Modi. French President Francois Hollande cancelled his visit to the Summit due to the Paris killings and stamp was issued in his honour.Russian president Vladimir Putin actively participated in discussions with both U.S. President Barack Obama and U.K. Prime Minister David Cameron. But his shocking statement that regarded examples of businessmen from 40 countries to be actively associated with terrorist groups created a huge controversy at the summit. He said in a statement that Barack Obama addressed at G20 summit that their main focus would be to make global economy better availing jobs for people but without peace it would not be possible to make a country better place to live in. He believes that at the present scenario actual objective should be to fight back against those faces of evils. At this summit a new agreement announced that USA would share intelligence and military information including on ISIL to protect more attacks

with the help of all comprehensive strategies. The agreement also added that if people were to flush terror out from their territories then more nations would be needed to step up with the resources. On the other hand, Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi claimed terrorism as the principal global challenge that poses a new level of threat to pluralist and societies. He proposed a 10-Point plan to tackle terrorism. He insisted on isolating those countries which are continuously supporting terrorist groups and also said that nations should act against those countries which are using terrorism as an instrument of state policy. Islamic State has warned in a new video after the summit that countries which were participating in air strikes in Syria would suffer the same fate as France and also threatened to attack on Washington. But now, USA has ruled out sending ground troops to Syria. U.S. President and Russian President are now trying to find a common ground in dealing with the situation of Syria. Hurdled around the coffee table, they

held an impromptu informal meeting on the side of G20 summit. The official announced that while they agreed on common goals, their tactics to deal with the situation still differ. The leaders after the two-day Summit, which was overshadowed by the deadly attacks claimed by ISIS in Paris, highlighted the need to “carefully calibrate” and clearly communicate their policy decisions. They also noted the scale of the refugee crisis, saying all states needed to share the burden through refugee resettlement and other forms of humanitarian aid, while underscoring the importance of a political solution. The leaders also vowed to continue to work toward lifting Global GDP. The G20 communiqué said that in support of their growth and resilience agenda, they remained committed to building a global culture of intolerance towards corruption through effectively implementing the 2015-16 G20 Anti-Corruption Action Plan.

BROKEN DREAMEmpty streets, tranquil surrounding.Dusky night, thoughts in my mind.

Killing me inside,Like a deceived lover in my life.

A feeling of ignorance,Hurting me every moment. No value, no importance,Do I exist only for myself?

Walking down the lonely lane,With love for her concealed.

Everyone asleep at home,Where I’m walking like a broken dream.

DOWRY, INJUSTICE TO WOMEN

Dowry well known as “Dhaej Pratha” in Hindi all over

India consists of goods, cash, and properties being given to the groom’s family. It is given by the bride’s family as a condition for marriage. In eastern part of India dowry is called AAUNNPOT.This system of dowry puts a lot of pressure on the bride’s family as they have to fulfill all the demands by the groom’s family and relatives .This is an old trend which is still going on with the new generation of the

21st century. The Dowry system is prohibited according to the Indian Penal Code but people still demand dowry. It has led to a lot of crime such as emotional abuse towards women resulting in suicides and deaths. It is very obvious that our Indian society also supports dowry. The general trend followed by people is that the dowry given in large amounts by the bride’s family to the groom’s family is a matter of pride. The states in northern part of India are more likely to be seen involved and in Indian

upper class society, people are more involved than lower class people in this trend of giving dowry. Mostly it is seen that dowry is used as a threat on women, as they are left with no choice. There are places where a girl’s tenure in the family depends on the amount of goodies she brings from her house after marriage. The more, the better her stay would be with her in-laws; but at any point if the amount is low, the level of torture increases.

Selfie maniaIs clicking selfie a mental disorder?

Isn’t it spreading way too fast?Yes, it’s true! Taking selfie has become a new trend in present generation. In a way, it is changing their personality and inculcating confidence in them. If any youth shares his/her selfie with family and friends, he/she tend to get lots and pots of positive comments which in return creates self-confidence. Research says 91% of the teenagers are using this style every day. Teenagers are trying to form their identity with just one click. Selfies serve as a way to test how they look and feel about themselves, wearing certain outfits and cosmetics. But there is one more fact which cannot be overlooked, that is, to some extent the society is getting hampered. The young generation is so obsessed with this craze for selfies that they have started putting in demands to own a new phone having a good

quality camera. Camera being their major priority though.Young boys and girls are portraying themselves according to their behavior. Teenagers are growing with the growing trend of clicking Selfies. Selfies, can be influential in molding their sense of self. It appears as a kind of pleasure to have more and more selfies in one’s collection. It has created a comparative world for the

new generation. Selfie seems to have crackled more enthusiasm in the minds of teenagers. Nothing left to do, let’s click a selfie; need a break time, let’s click a selfie; wherever we go, we need selfies, have started becoming a basic mantra and chants for many. Funny !! But true. And to top it all, selfie sticks are an added advantage now.

Being In LoveWhen you are around me,

I feel like the world surrounding me.When you gaze into my eyes,I yearn to cuddle you in base.

When you hold my hand,I feel the angelic touch of the fairyland.

When you hug me tight,I fear to lose you under the moonlight.

I don’t want everyday kisses,But I crave for your glimpse every day.

I don’t want you to say “I love you”,But I want you to say “You make me feel loved”.

I’ll love you with no conditions,No demands and no expectations.

But I request for a favor,A favor not to break my trust ever.

The Black FlagIn today’s time, the words “Woman

Empowerment” have become very common. According to Forbes, the world’s most powerful woman is a German Chancellor, Angela Merkel. Hillary Clinton has appeared on FORBES ranking every year since it launched in 2004, and now she is the second most powerful woman of the world. There are some other names in this list ; Melinda Gates, Janet Yellen, Mary Barra, Christine Lagarde, Dilma Rousseff, Sheryl Sandberg, Susan Wojcicki and Michelle Obama. But have you ever thought about the women who are controlled by the most powerful people in the world? Everybody should be concerned about those people who have lost everything to live a healthy life and the upcoming generation who are now trained to become the future face of evils. Thousands and thousands have died, and shedding of blood continues till today. Hundreds and thousands have got displaced and are living in a terrible condition in refugee camps and lots of women and girls have been abducted and sold as slaves, merely for sexual purpose. Women have been targeted in a way they have never been before. According to a report, five thousand Yezidi people are kidnapped by ISIS in Kurdistan region. Out of the lot, 3000 of them are women. Almost 700 children aged between 4-10 years are kidnapped by Islamic State of Iraq and Syria. Those evil-head monsters are teaching young children how to hold a gun, how to turn into next generation terrorists. Girls, no matter how old they are, are being raped

brutally, being subjected to a hell lot of injuries. A story of a Yezidi girl became so famous after she escaped from that cobweb. At the age of 15, she had been auctioned 20 times for money. The last time she was bargained for, was only for 1 dollar. Children as young as 5-years-old are being trained to fight and dedicate their lives to the ‘Caliphate’.This pandemonium had started back in January when the Islamic State basically took Fallujah. Taliban, one of the most dangerous terrorist groups

comes under the limelight because they refused to join ISIS/ISIL. The first question should be what they actually want? They are fighting against whom? why? If it is a fight against the NATO or Government then no need to do those brutal activities with many innocent civilians, especially with young children and women. Is there a possibility that ISIL or ISIS, is a part of a foreign plot? Sufferings are still going on, and it seems it will continue.

Childhood is

Precious

Childhood days are much rememberedLittle silly, little moodyFilled with innocenceIt is a learning time

Time for gaining knowledgeChildhood is playing with toys and thinking about our self

These days are joyful filled with granny’s storiesNone can ever forget these times

Time will change but childhood memories remain the sameTo hold our parent’s hand and walk each step is the game

Childhood gives courage to choose paths in lifeChildhood is the time when life is full of colors

Childhood is the time when love is so pureEveryone appears as friend in childhoodWithout the knowledge of enemy bondSmile is a gift for everyone in childhood

Giving time to grow up with dreamsNever are these moments going to come back

They become memories beyond forever.

My dream journey with you

We could have been souls floating in time,Ignorant that together we would become sublime.

We could have been notes of a music so loud,Unaware of the blithering and shouting crowd.

We could have been stars to wink at the sky,Waiting to fall with a shrieking cry.

We could have been bugs on a tiny little tree,Insignificant and yet significantly so free.

We could have been mannequins of a small town store,Coming alive at night when they close the door.

We could have been sonnets being sung out in praise,Weaving a new life from our short lived days.We could have been coal waiting to be flamed,

Our fires lighting up the skies untamed. We could have been rivers cutting through rocks,

Struggling for a kiss while the earth mocks. But we choose to be us, just you and me,

Our souls longing yet never becoming we.

For three generation the world watched the fight between

Capitalism and Communalism. But in the 1980’s Russian economy started to fall and finally capitulated. Then our so called capitalism reigned supreme. Over the last thirty to forty years capitalism has taken the extreme form. Some big economist’s opinions and policies encouraged people to take on huge amount of debt, and encouraged privatization as well. There are two main economic approaches which determine how we humans manage the world and distribute wealth. These are classical and neo-classical schools. We should know about neoclassical economy. Because we think in this economic system government rules the economy, solves social problems and look after the distribution of wealth. Is this a system we called Capitalism, is really Capitalism? In a capitalism

system government is supposed to be small, individuals and companies are supposed to operate in a free market, good enterprise is rewarded with profit and f lawed enterprise with failure. But the system is behaving in

a totally different manner. It’s a kind of f lawed democracy. According to reports 97% of worlds’ money it is debt. So, eventually we have found ourselves into debt

slavery. Wall Street has become a very particular type casino. It is a casino that has massive and negative impact on the rest of the society. So, it’s just not losing people’s money on a few wild nights, it’s about the way

the organization lose their money, which leads towards a massive loss of jobs.

Selective Sympathy by Facebook

In the backdrop of the recent Paris attacks, when a powerful entity like Facebook was supposed to create a platform where in the entire world could unite and opine against terror, it chose to display selective sympathy by introducing the ‘French flag filter’, in order to support the Paris attack victims. Why choose only Paris? Was the West blind-folded when people were dying and continue to do so in similar incidents in Palestine, Syria, Lebanon, Kenya and other such countries. if we want equal treatment irrespective of our race, religion, class, if we want to revive respect for humanity, this is a conversation we need to start. Facebook is more than just another social networking site. It is currently a platform that is used by a wide umbrella of people from all walks of life. From the recent occurrences,

it is very evident that Facebook as an instrument of change, has failed in taking a neutral stance and work progressively devoid of any prejudice.Last Night I took the Atlas on my lap, held it and asked, ‘Where does it hurt the most?’ it said, ‘Everywhere...Everywhere.’ It is high time we understand that this war is not against some geographically-divided countries that are clouded by terrorism, it is a war against terrorism as a whole. It is against those people who are falsely draped in the cloth of religion and in the name of anarchy are propagating a serious case of unrest around the world. As an informed human race, we should understand that, we have to stand up against terrorism. If we do not fight it, it will bulldoze the entire human civilization.
