ACTIVITY DESCRIPTIONS

Session available for children to experience sensation in water or to develop swim skills alreadylearnt in lessons or school. Helpers will be available in the water to assist delivery of sessionsand support children when necessary.

Suitable for children aged 4 years plus who are currently not in swim lessons. This course is anintroduction to the water environment, increasing children's confidence and learning aquatic skills.

Play games that include throwing, catching and hittinga ball. All aimed at improving balance and coordina-tion skills.

All the fun of a party with inflatables, music and pooltoys. This is a family only session, a family ticket isrequired. Ratio of 2 adults and 2 children or 1 adultand 3 children (if 1 adult is with 3 children, 3rd child must be over 8 years).

Led by a qualified cycling coach this teaches correctuse of gears, brakes, cornering and safe riding of abike (bring your own or try ours!) in a fun environnment building on skills learnt at Cycle Tots.

Led by a qualified cycling coach, this teaches theskills and confidence required to ride a bike without stabilisers.

A qualified track cycling coach will teach riders howto control fixed wheel bikes. Bikes provided.

Free Swim for those children 0-16 years who havea free swim card. For children under 8 child supervision guidelines apply.

Come along and learn how to walk the beam, vault off the trampet or perform a floor routine. The session is led by qualified coaches.

Holiday Club providing child care for children aged5-12 years. Action packed activity days, includingsports, arts, crafts, theme days and play activities.

Learn important lifesaving skills including variousrescue techniques.

A modified version of the full game using softerballs which are more suitable for younger children.

Develop swimming and aquatic skills throughlearning the basics of snorkelling. Skills learnt include use of fins, snorkel and mask as well asswimming underwater and correct entry into thewater. Children will need to be able to swim a minimum of 50m and be confident in deep water.

This course is for those currently in stages 4-5 ofthe swim lesson programme. The main emphasis ison breast stroke and butterfly.

Try diving within a safe and fun environment. Encourages agility, co-ordination, and balance,must be able to swim 50m and be confident indeep water.

This course aimed at non swimmers, aged 5years+. Develop basic safety awareness, move-ment and water confidence skills.

This course aimed at children in Stages 2-3 of theswim lesson programme. Developing swim skills inflotation, travel and rotation and water safetyknowledge.

A coached tennis session developing a wide varietyof tennis skills in a fun environment.

A taster session for children aged 3-4 and 5-7years. Improve your rugby skills with fun interactivegames and drills to help build confidence.

This weekly session enables you to participate in avariety of sports. The session includes a free swimwhich you must have a free swim card to access.

Come and join us to make some different creations including Easter bonnets, fluffy chickpom poms, Easter cards and lots more.

A clue trail around The Riverfront Theatre building,answer the clues and win a small prize.

An art station for you to get creative!
