Definio:

Trata-se de uma pergunta curta, usandoapenas o verbo auxiliar e o pronome

pessoal, no final de uma frase afirmativaou negativa que tem o objetivo deconfirmar a afirmao anterior.

Usos:

Linguagem Coloquial: usado na fala ou naescrita informal

Objetivo: Solicitar confirmao do que foidito anteriormente

Estrutura: Usa-se o mesmo verbo auxiliarda frase principal, no mesmo tempo verbal

da mesma, na sua forma contrria (se afrase foi afirmativa, a pergunta final sernegativa e vice-versa.)

Exemplos no tempo Presente:

She is a teacher, isnt she? They are Brazilians, arent they? You speak English, dont you? They live in Brazil, dont they? She has a car, doesnt she?

He doesnt have children, does he? They dont smoke, do they? You can drive, cant you?
