The paper we have printed on is from 80% post-consumer waste and the remaining 20% pulp is TCF(Totally Chlorine Free). This fibre is FSC certified (seefsc.org for details). In recognition, the range has beenawarded both the NAPM and Eugropa recycled marks,two of the most prestigious and recognisable recycledcertificates available. The ink we have used is vegetablebased, allowing the document to be recycled.

IntroductionThe Kingspan Wall-Lite is a translucent wall panel that allows natural daylightinto buildings, whilst maintaining thermal efficiency and aesthetic appearance.

The Kingspan Wall-Lite offers excellent interior levels of natural lightwithout compromising the performance of the building. This can help tolower both energy bills and CO2 emissions, whilst allowing occupantsto enjoy high levels of daylight. The system is suitable for useas an alternative to traditional vertical daylighting systemsand need not restrict design options as it integrates fullywith Kingspan’s range of Architectural Wall Panels,Kingspan Optimo™, and Kingspan’s range of CompleteWall & Façade Systems.

The Kingspan Wall-Lite is UV resistant, lightweight and offersa U-value of 1.26 W/m2K providing designers and installers choiceof freedom to create energy efficient buildings of distinction.

Building ApplicationsKingspan Wall-Lite is suitable for use on most types of buildings,for both vertical and horizontal applications. It is a single componentsystem and does not require glazing experience to fit, thereby reducinginstallation times and the need to rely on skilled sub-contractors.

Infra-red (IR) Absorbing LightsThis range of Kingspan Wall-Lites absorbgreater levels of infra-red light which reducessolar gain. These can allow for greater control ofambient temperature within the buildingproviding a possible reduction in HVAC usage.

U-value calculated in accordance with Building Regulations ApprovedDocuments L2A & L2B (England & Wales), Technical Handbooks Domesticand Non-domestic Sections 6 (Scotland), Part F2 (Northern Ireland) andPart L (Republic of Ireland - based on the Overall Heat Loss Method).

The Kingspan Wall-Lite is 100% recyclable at the end of life and anyoff-cuts during the manufacturing process are used in the production ofnew material. This reduces the amount of virgin material used and sohave a reduced environmental impact.

For applications where Kingspan Wall-Lite is used as a ‘screen’ and isexposed internally and externally, an additional UV protection layer canbe applied to the internal face upon request.*

StoragePackaged Kingspan Wall-Lite delivered to site should be stored off theground and on a slope, supported evenly with timber bearers spacedat maximum 1.5 metres. Bearers should always be placed one directlyabove another. If packs cannot be kept in a building they should becovered with a non-transparent weatherproof sheet ensuring that thesheet drains water away effectively and does not allow ponding tooccur. Once a bundle has been opened and a Wall-Lite panel has beenremoved for installation, the pack should be re-wrapped againstinclement weather.
