Summary

When trying to generate a virtual OTP and send it using the Message Deliver

Component you can get the following error in the IDENTIKEY Authentication Server

Web Administration:

“it has failed to send the VDP OTP to the user, the reason is: Unable to acquire

connection for SMS delivery method.

Problem details.

• In the MDC full trace file you can find the following error message:

This error is generated when the Profile Name of the MDC SMS Gateway

Does not correspond with the profile name that is defined in the IDENTIKEY

Administration Logon Policy that is assigned to the Administration Program client

The setting can be found on the Virtual DIGIPASS tab in the IDENTIKEY Administration

Logon policy. The value is located in MDC profile
