No. 13-CA (EXAM)/M/2011: - In pursuance of Regulation 22 of the Chartered AccountantsRegulations, 1988, the Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India is pleased to notify thatthe Professional Competence Course (PCC), Integrated Professional Competence Course (IPCC) and Finalexaminations will be held on the dates given below at the following centres provided that sufficientnumber of candidates offer themselves to appear from each centre.

Similarly Post Qualification Course Insurance and Risk Management (IRM) examination will alsobe held on the dates given below at the following centres (centres in India only) in terms of provisions ascontained in Schedule “G” of the Chartered Accountant s Regulations, 1988 , provided that sufficientnumber of candidates offer themselves to appear from each centre.

Payment of fees for the examinations should be made by Demand Draft only. The Demand Draftsmay be of any Scheduled Bank and should be drawn in favour of The Secretary, The Institute ofChartered Accountants of India, payable at New Delhi only.

The Council reserves the right to withdraw any centre at any stage without assigning any reason.

Applications for admission to these examination s are required to be made either online athttp://icaiexam.icai.org free of cost ( i.e, Rs.100/- for PCC & IPCC candidates and Rs.500/-for Final candidates for application form shall not be charged if application s are filled inonline , in case of Final Examination online facility is available only upto 28 th February,2011)or in the relevant prescribed form, copies of which may be obtained from the Sr. Deputy Director(Examinations), The Institute of Chartered Acc ountants of India, ICAI BHAWAN, IndraprasthaMarg, New Delhi – 110 002 on payment of Rs.100/ - per application form in respec t of ProfessionalCompetence Course & Integrated Professional Competence Course candidates and Rs.500/- perapplication form in respect of Final Examination candidates . The cost of Examination application formsfor Insurance and Risk Management (IRM) examination is Rs. 100/- per application form. The forms shallalso be made available in the Regional and Branch Offices of the Institu te and can be obtained therefromon cash payment on or from 7th February,2011 .

Applications together with the prescribed fee by Demand Draft of any Scheduled Bank may besent so as to reach the Sr. Deputy Director (Examinations) at New Delhi not later t han 28th

February,2011. However, applications will also be received direct by Delhi Office after 28th

February,2011 and upto 7th March,2011 with late fee of Rs. 500/-. Applications received after 7th

March,2011 shall not be entertained under any circu mstances. Applications for the students’examinations only duly filled in will also be received by hand delivery at the office of Institute at NewDelhi and at the Decentralised Offices of the Institute at Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Kanpur, Delhi,Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Jaipur and Pune upto 7th March,2011. Candidates residing inthese cities are advised to take advantage of this facility. However, application forms duly completed forthe Post Qualification Course examination Insurance and Risk Management (IRM) examinations will bereceived only at the New Delhi office of the Institute.

The candidates who fill up the examination application form online athttp://icaiexam.icai.org from 7th February,2011 to 28th February,2011 and remit the feeonline by using either VISA or MASTER Credit/ Debit Card shall not be charged Rs.100/- incase of PCC & IPCC Examinations and Rs.500/- in case of Final examination ( i.e, cost ofapplication form fee) in order to popularize filling-in of application form online . Thecandidates of PCC and IPCC can continue to fill in application forms online from 1 st

March,2011 to 7 th March,2011 whereas the candidates of Final Examinations are necessarilyrequired to fill in physical application forms from 1 st March,2011 to 7 th March,2011 in casethey fail to fill in and submit their online application form by 28 th February,2011.

The fees payable for the various examinations are as under: -

Candidates of Professional Competence Course Examination (PCC) / Integrated ProfessionalCompetence Course Examination(IPCC) and Final examination opting for Dubai/Abu Dhabi Centre arerequired to remit, US$ 350 and US$ 400 r espectively or its equivalent Indian Currency irrespective ofwhether the candidates appear in a group or in both the groups or in a unit .

Candidates of Professional Competence Course Examination (PCC) / Integrated ProfessionalCompetence Course Examination (IPCC) and Final Examinations opting for Kathmandu centre arerequired to remit Indian Rs. 2250/ - and Indian Rs. 3000/- respectively or its equivalent relevant foreigncurrency irrespective of whether the candidates appear in a group or in both the g roups or in a unit.

OPTION TO ANSWER PAPERS IN HINDI :

Candidates of Professional Competence Course Examination (PCC)/ Integrated ProfessionalCompetence Course Examination (IPCC) and Final Examinations will be allowed to opt for Hindi mediumfor answering papers. Detailed information will be found printed in the Information sheets attached tothe relevant application form. However the medium of Examinations will be only English in respect ofInsurance and Risk Management (IRM) Examination .
