Students’ Perspective

What a school environment should look like: Creative Opinions shared (critical thinking) Creating solutions to real world problems (problem solving) Develop our own school projects (innovation) Using everyday technology and social networking for learning

Teens constantly use the internet for learning outside of school, especially mobile phones; however mainly teachers in higher socioeconomic communities leverage phones in school for learning (Pew Survey).

The top insights that stands out both globally and in our community is Content, Connection, Culturalism, and Creativity.

TecKnoWorld, TAHS – Our Role

Solution Provider: Our u-readiness approach that will be infused throughout all of our content and curriculum

prepares the student for the 22nd century. Will create the atmosphere where the student not only thrives but develop an inventor

mindset that will prepare them for whatever path they choose to take. Multi-Culturalism will be celebrated and infused to bridge the gap to exposed students and

welcome them to the global economy in which they live. Connection is a freedom that give students access and with access student can not only be a consumer of the access but a creator of the content in which they access.

Creativity is a missing component in today's school settings, test preparation has become the focus. TAHS mantra will bring back the creative side of learning so students can explore and tap into all the endless possibilities that awaits them.
