SYNOPSIS
The project “DEPARTMENT WEBSITE DEVELOPMENT” is to develop an
internet based system for college department. Student, Staff, Department, Timetable, Library
and attendance details are maintained in computerized system.
After getting the approval of the design phase reports from the concerned
authorities the development phase activities starts. The principle activity of the development
phase constitute of coding and testing the computer program modules of the overall system.
The other important activities includes implementation planning, equipment acquisition and
system.
Suggestion regarding change over from the manual to the computerized system is
made a parallel change over, is the process of dropping the existing system and
implementation of the new system. The existing system should be developed to avoid the
difficult of manual processing. So there is need for developing the manual system is a
computerized environment. The existing system takes more manual labour time and money,
so only proposed system which is computerized has greater advantages than the manual
system.
The report gives detail about students, staffs, attendance, and timetable in
customized format with search facility. Can get appropriate record in small piece of time.

SYSTEM STUDY
System analysis is a process of collecting functional involved identifying problems
and recommending feasibility suggestions for improving the system function. This involves
studying the business process gathering operational data. Understand the information flow,
for overcoming the weakness of the system so as to achieve the organization goals.
EXISXTING SYSTEM
In the existing system only crime can be reported, also it has more work load for the
authorized person, but in the case of proposed system, the user can register the site and send
the first information report of complaint about a particular situation of person.
DRAWBACKS
There are several disadvantages and drawbacks that are caused by the existing system.
More man power needed to maintain all the information’s
Consumes large volume paper work
Time consuming
Needs manual calculations
No direct role for the higher officials
To avoid all these limitations and make the working more accurately the system needs
to be computerized in a better way
Risk availability
Possibility of retrieving data is very low
![Page 4: 21-3-2015_DOC_GOK](https://reader036.vdocuments.site/reader036/viewer/2022083011/5695cf821a28ab9b028e626d/html5/thumbnails/4.jpg)
PROPOSED SYSTEM
The proposed system is a development of existing system. It has many controls. The
proposed system has move user interaction and any one can work in the system without the
complete system knowledge. This system improves the speed reliability and security than the
existing system. So it does not wastage of time and money and there is less possibility of
errors and it also requires verification of data in relation to various operations which is
computerized.
FEATURES OF PROPOSED SYSTEM
The system is very simple in design and implement
The system requires very low system resources and the system will work in almost all
configurations
Minimize manual data entry
Minimum time needed for the various processing
Greater efficiency
Better service
User friendliness and interactive
Minimum time required
Avoid duplication of data and effort
Can know the work status any time
The system is flexible
The replace manual operation in the existing system by computerized system.

FEASIBILITY STUDY
A feasibility study is conducted to select the best system that meets performed
requirements. In this project the entities and identification an evaluation of candidate system.
It is the best of the system proposal according to this workability impact on the organization,
ability to meets user needs and effective use of the recourses. The feasibility study includes
three key considerations.
A Feasibility study is a test of system proposal according to its workability, impact
on the organization, ability use of recourses. Apart from these, an initial investigation is
launched to study the present system, evaluate the lost of effectiveness of the proposed
system, existing personal and as certain the need of new personal the feasibility report of the
product holds the advantages and flexibility of the project. This is divided into three sections.
Economical feasibility
Technical feasibility
Operational feasibility
Behavioral feasibility
ECONOMICAL FEASIBILITY
Economical feasibility is a process of identifying the financial benefits and cost
associated with a development project. Economical feasibility is most important think to
create the new project. More commonly known as lost/benefit analysis, the procedure is to
determining the benefits and savings that are expected from a candidate and compare them
with costs.
System financial benefits must exceed the cost of developing the system. A new
system being developed should be a good investment for the organization. Economic
feasibility consider following
The cost to conduct a full system investigation.
The cost of hardware and software for the application.
The cost is nothing changes
The system requires very time factors
![Page 6: 21-3-2015_DOC_GOK](https://reader036.vdocuments.site/reader036/viewer/2022083011/5695cf821a28ab9b028e626d/html5/thumbnails/6.jpg)
TECHNICAL FEASIBILITY
A process of accessing the developed organization is its ability to construct a
proposed system. It is used to understanding the accessing technical the assessment of target
develop the project as well as knowledge also. The technical feasibility assessment is focused
on technical organization. It an evaluation of the hardware, software project. The certain of
the project are very easy.
All the technical resources that are needed to build and maintain the system are
available in the organization. Hence the system is technically feasible. The availability of
technology like ASP.NET and SQL server has helped in developing the project.
The development of software becomes eases and technically feasible. The evaluation
determines whether the technology needed for the proposed system is available and now it
can be integrated with in organization.
OPERATIOAL FEASIBILITY
The proposed system solves the problem. The e- mobile shop administration is
operationally feasible. It covers the two aspects that is technical feasibility and economic
feasibility. The operational feasibility refers the performance of the software. The software
that fulfill all the requirements and needs means the software is operationally feasible .The
process of accessing the project is to which a proposed system solves the problem.
BEHAVIOURAL FEASIBILITY
People are inherently resistant to change computers to facilitate change the estimate
should be made of now strong towards the development of a computerized system.
It is common knowledge that computer installations have something to do with
turnover, transfers, retraining and changes in employee job status. It is understandable that
the production of a candidate system require special effort to educate, sell and train the staff
on new way of conducting business.

SYSTEM DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT
System design is the process of defining the architecture components modules,
interfaces and data for a system to satisfy specified requirement system design could seen as
the application of system theory to product development there is some overlap with the
disciplines of system analysis. System design is a transaction from a user oriented document
to a document oriented programs. It emphasis on translating performance specification and it
involves conceiving and planning and then carrying out the plan by generating necessary
reports and outputs..
Input design
Output design
Database design
The system design in the process a new system complete replaces to old system.
Design is the process of defining a device, a process on a system is sufficient detail to permit.
INPUT DESIGN
Input design is the bridge between users and information system. It specifies the
manner in which data enters the system for processing it can ensure the reliability of the
system and produce reports from accurate data or it may results in output of error
information. The main aim of the input design is converting user oriented input into computer
based format.

DATABASE DESIGN
Database design is a collection of inter related data stored in a format the user can
access the information easily and quickly while designing the database effectively and also to
increase the system performance. The objectives of the data should be stored only one. After
the input and output analysis of the items and study of the relationship between the data items
made. It has been decided to have the following details.
The goal of a relational database asset of the relational data allow us to store
information without unnecessary redundancy yet allow us to retrieve easily are appropriate
normal for identify. The purpose of doing database design generally consists of a number of
steps which will be carried out by the database designer, not are these steps will be necessary
in all cases.
This project includes the following table (or) designing of the database such as,
