Please check your class Seesaw account each day. Your teacher will be uploading relevant videos or links that will assist you with daily tasks. Please take a photo of completed work and post it on your Seesaw account. You can message your teacher directly on Seesaw if you have any questions. Please remember to read each day for at least 15 minutes. Your teacher has assigned books to you on Reading eggs this week. Please log in and read these from your Reading Eggs library. You can use Oxford Owl as an additional or optional resource.

Grammar A pronoun stands in place of a noun, so that the name of the noun does not have to be repeated. Words like: his, her, she, he, them, their, our, mine are some of the pronouns. Listen to the reading of The Unwilling Twin by Freya Blackwood (Published by HarperCollins, 2020), and complete the Venn Diagram activity. The video will be uploaded onto Seesaw.

Geography

We will be learning about how people are connected to many places. Look at the map of the world and talk to your family about where you live, places you have visited and places around the world where other members of your family might live. You can label these places on the map.

Science and technology

We will now be learning about Forces and Energy. Think about what makes things move. Objects can move by a push or a pull. Today you will find toys in your home and sort them under the heading of how to make them move. Do you PUSH your toy? PULL your toy? or can you use BOTH forces to make your toy move? Draw-A-Fish Head

Follow the instructions on the worksheet included in this Home Learning pack. Once you have drawn your fish you can colour it in. Share your drawing on Seesaw with your teacher.

PD/H/PE

Watch the video from Ms Beveridge showing you some core strength exercises you can do at home. This will be uploaded onto Seesaw. Try and do some yourself and see how strong you can make your tummy! Tell your teacher which one you liked the best.
