General Information for Parents

• PSLE Oral – Students will report to the schoolon both days of the examination. The reportingtime will be provided closer to the examination.

• PSLE Listening Comprehension – Studentswill usually report to the school by 8 am andwill go home after they have completed bothpapers (usually around 12 noon).


General Information for Parents• PSLE Written Papers – Students will report

to the school at the USUAL time in themorning.

• Students will go home after the end of theexamination. They will not need to stay inschool until 1.00pm/1.30pm.

• On all the PSLE days – Students are to beattired in the full school uniform or PE T-shirtwith Skirts / Shorts


Use of CL/ML/TL Dictionary

• Students can use the dictionary only forCL/ML/TL Paper 1 (Composition)

• For PSLE, students can use the hardcopy of the dictionary or the approvedelectronic dictionary (only for CL).

• Hard copy of the dictionary must be endorsed by the school before being taken in to the examination room.


Use of Calculator For Mathematics

• Calculator (Approved Model) can be used for Paper 2 Mathematics / Paper 2 Foundation Mathematics

Road Safety of Students

• Students to use pedestrian crossing at blocks 803 and 806 or to enter the school

via gate 3 at block 808.

For parents who drive….

• drive carefully, reduce vehicle speed and stay alert for pedestrian crossing in school zone

• let your child alight only at designated drop-off point

Release of the PSLE Results

• Release of PSLE results - tentative date basedon 2020 – 1st week of Nov school holidays.

• Posting to Secondary Schools - tentative datebased on 2020 – 22 Dec

• Report to Secondary Schools (for Sec 1registration) based on 2020 – 23 Dec.

MOE will advise nearer the date whether studentsneed to report in person.


Choosing Secondary Schools• All parents will receive an information

booklet on “How to Choose SecondarySchool” in mid-October.

• Virtual Talks by Secondary Schools afterthe PSLE.

• Selection of schools will be done after therelease of the PSLE results.


• All students will have to make 6 choices.• Parents and students will usually be

given 5 working days to make theirchoices.

• More information on the procedures ofchoosing secondary schools will bemade known on the day of the releaseof PSLE results.

• Parents are advised not to make anytravel plans around this period of time.
